Page move

I have undone your most recent edit to Jantzen Beach and then moved it over Jantzen Beach Amusement Park. Generally, if the destination has trivial editing history, this is something you can do. Page moves are preferred over cut-and-paste transplants because moving preserves the article history as well as moving the associated talk page and its history. History preservation is important for attributions to the editors who have contributed per Wikipedia's licensing requirements.

If you have any questions, please ask at my talk page. —EncMstr (talk) 23:08, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

RE:AFL Jersey Numbers

Hi, yes the numbers on the AFL website are from last season when all those players were on different rosters. The actual Portland website doesn't even have a roster posted yet. If you look at other rosters you can see that there are two players with the same number because the AFL just moved that player to the new teams roster on their site. I'm sure numbers will be assigned to players after training camp starts. DMC511 01:54, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Portland Thunder "Also See"

I don't believe any of those topics should be listed as also see on the Thunder page because they have no real relevancy to the Thunder. They just happen to be college programs and a defunct league that happened to be in Portland. DMC511 20:01, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing out the Also See portion to me. It would appear to me that all of those teams are captured in the Oregon Sports template. As for the link "The Franchise," you can see that almost every single sports franchise includes the same link in their templates and I was just trying to keep things uniform. Death date discrepancy at Dennis Van Zant

Hello. I'm looking into a discrepancy in death date between Dennis Van Zant and his Wikidata entry. Looking at when you created the article, you added two dates - one to the text, and a different one to the persondata information, which then got copied over to Wikidata. I'm guessing that this was a copy-paste error with persondata, so I'll copy over the date from the article, but if that assumption is wrong then please fix it both in the article and on Wikidata. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:09, 29 December 2016 (UTC)

Your assumption was correct. Thanks for finding my error. Happy editing! —Brian Halvorsen (talk) 00:10, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
