Speedy deletion nomination of T.M. Ananny edit

A tag has been placed on T.M. Ananny, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

G5: banned user. See Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Ananny for details of banned sock User:Ananny who has been spamming and self-promoting for years

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. freshacconci talk to me 20:57, 20 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ananny, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

April 2014 edit

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Liquitex, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. freshacconci talk to me 21:05, 20 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your username edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Gladbot", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it ends in the word "bot". On Wikipedia, we actually have bot accounts that serve to carry out repetitive tasks. They are usually run by automated scripts. Since your username might imply that your account is a bot account, it may be misleading to other editors. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Mz7 (talk) 02:15, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the information. I had no idea that there was an issue with the ending of the username. I certainly had no intention of misleading anyone. I will look into changing the username. Thanks again. Gladbot (talk) 02:21, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
