Edits to Jennifer Cook O'Toole

edit

Hi GingerJenny,

I've noticed you've made some edits to the Jennifer Cook O'Toole article. The Wikipedia uses [[square brackets]] to link to other Wikipedia articles, a couple of the links you created are considered hotlinks (external) and are not allowed in the body of the text. We need to provide the reference in the same manner as the others, using the citation templates Template:Citation Style 1 and if there is no Wikipedia article it should remain in plain text with a numbered reference following -- the blue text external link are misleading and not allowed in the body of the article. I put a few hours into this article and would like to see it stay up and maintain the same referencing style. Thanks! -- 009o9 (talk) 21:12, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

P.S. The article should have at least one incoming link from another Wikipedia article, otherwise is considered an WP:ORPHAN and will receive unwanted scrutiny from critical authors, you might spend some time on related articles, where it may be appropriate to mention Jennifer Cook O'Toole's article. 009o9 (talk) 21:18, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Okay let's start over Hi GingerJenny, welcome to Wikipedia, I'm beginning to think that you are also Jennifer Cook O'Toole. If so, you need to stop editing your own biography per WP:COI, the changes you made make the article appear to be highly promotional WP:ADVOCACY. I have undone the raw urls you inserted, and changed the referencing style to something more manageable. Regardless as to if you are Jennifer Cook O'Toole, please suggest/discuss any changes you'd like made to the article on the article's talk page. (Talk:Jennifer Cook O'Toole) The edits you made earlier made the article a candidate for deletion, and as the reviewing editor, I also have a stake in the article and do not want to see that happen. I'll likely be notified if the article or talk page changes. Thanks! -- 009o9 (talk) 02:05, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
