Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz

edit

The article you write about the Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz keeps getting deleted because it does not explain why this particular entity is important or significant and, as such, qualifies for deletion under speedy deletion criterion A7. This does not mean that your contributions here are not welcome! It's just that Wikipedia has rules regarding what qualifies for inclusion: here, you can only write about entities which, in Wikipedia's jargon, are considered notable – there are various criteria to determine wheter or not an entity is notable; WP:GNG, the most general, requires that the subject of the article has received significant coverage in reliable, third-party sources –. Before recreating this article, please familiarise yourself with these rules and, since you also have a conflict of interest, with our best practices. If, after doing this, you are confident that the Federation of Private Entrepreneurs is notable, create what we call a userspace draft in your userspace – here, for instance – and then ask for feedback at WP:FEEDBACK. Happy editing. Salvio Let's talk about it! 20:15, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Adding to what Salvio wrote:
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a business listing directory or a vehicle for any kind of promotion. Articles have to be of enough general interest for an encyclopedia article: the Wikipedia term for that is Notability, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have people independent of the subject thought it significant enough to write substantial comment about? More detail in Notability (organizations and companies) and in WP:42.
Also, articles must be written from a neutral point of view, and so people are strongly discouraged from writing about themselves or their own organizations, because of the conflict of interest involved. If you are connected with the organization you are writing about, read WP:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.
For more advice, read the FAQ/Organizations, in particular the sections headed:
If you also want to post an article in Spanish, the place for that is the Spanish Wikipedia, a separate organization with its own rules and standards, but they also have concerns about notability and conflict of interest - see es:Wikipedia:Artículos sin relevancia aparente and es:Wikipedia:Conflicto de intereses. Orphaned non-free media (File:Feplp-logo.png)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Feplp-logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 01:33, 10 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I follow your adivise and create a new article. However, I cannot name it with the same tittle as my previous deleted article. I need to be Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz, and it seems that after this article was deleted, it could not be used anymore..

Please advise me what to do. the link is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federation_of_Private_Entrepreneurs_from_La_Paz Thank you, Fabiola

Create a draft at User:FABIOLADEVIERNA/Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz so it can be assessed. Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz is currently protected. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 14:48, 11 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I just did. I created that site. What can I do to use the Federation of Private Entrepreneurs only. and to remove the protection of that tittle. I use it before, and that site was deleted, and I followed the advise of the admnistrator and build it again. The comments were about the content not about the tittle. Thank you.,

I have added a notice at the top of the draft. This has a link to a help page, and, if you think the draft is ready, a "Submit" link. Once you submit it, the article reviewers will know how to move it into place. -- John of Reading (talk) 20:36, 11 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
NOTE: I have deleted the other version at Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz -FEPLP, presumably created at that title because Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz was protected from creation. It is not a good idea to circumvent protection in that way, and it is also not a good idea to have two versions of the same article around. Submit the userspace draft when you think it is ready, and let the AfC reviewers decide. JohnCD (talk) 20:53, 11 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Spanish log in

edit

Hi. If I need to have my article in Spanish, should I open a new acount in Spanish wikipedia, with a new user name, and then linked them both articles, or it is enough to have one User name for different languages. Thank you, Fabiola

If you go to Special:MergeAccount, your account here will be automatically transferred to any other-language Wikipedia you visit, so that you don't have to sign up. Just log in with the same user name and password you use here.

Deletion requested?

edit

Earlier today you added a deletion request, {{db-inc}}, to your draft article. Since then I see that you have done some more work on the text, which makes it seem that you don't want the page deleted. If that's the case, you should remove the {{db-inc}} template from the end of the article. -- John of Reading (talk) 22:29, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz

edit

Hello FABIOLADEVIERNA. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Federation of Private Entrepreneurs from La Paz, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: AX criteria do not apply to AfC. Thank you. Guerillero | My Talk 22:48, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
