Welcome! edit

Hello, Erika.maugeri, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:EuroGeoSurveys, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:EuroGeoSurveys edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:EuroGeoSurveys, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. June 2020 edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:EuroGeoSurveys, from its old location at User:Erika.maugeri/sandbox/EuroGeoSurveys. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. - RichT|C|E-Mail 10:57, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

June 2020 edit

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Draft:EuroGeoSurveys, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Erika.maugeri, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Erika.maugeri|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Fiddle Faddle 12:59, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

You still have not responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying you may be blocked from editing. You appear to be the organisation's Junior Communications Officer. Carry on without making a proper declaration and you will be blocked (0.9 probability) Fiddle Faddle 14:16, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. this diff shows you have edited after warning level 3. This warning is your final warning Fiddle Faddle 14:45, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

How to disclose paid editing edit

This diff shows your message to me on my talk page. I'll quote it here.

Dear Timtrent,
Thank you for reviewing the draft I submitted more times. I am writing you concerning the declaration needed to demonstrate that I am payed from EuroGeoSurveys to submit an article. Moreover, I would like to know what kind of formal and verified references are needed, since I have also added one about the EU transparency register. Regards, Erika

If you look up ^^^^ on this page to all the various warnings about disclosing paid editing, which are warnings you have chosen to ignore completely until now, you will see the instructions very clearly. I direct you to those.

You need to interact with people here and to engage with them. Wikipedia editors are diligent in protecting it from spam and adverts thrown at it by paid editors. We also have to assume good faith. After you have ignored all warnings, especially the level four final warning and edited after it was left for you I think my need to assume good faith has expired.

Nonetheless I will point you one more time at mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Fiddle Faddle 13:57, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

What kind of references do you need? edit

I'm struggling here to know how to answer you. Before I answer, please confirm that you have read my comment on the draft at 12:56, 29 June 2020 (UTC)?

It is repeated above in the decline notice headed Your submission at Articles for creation: EuroGeoSurveys (June 29) and there are many pointers in there that are not only vital but useful.

Please confirm your understanding of the contents and ask specific questions. We will work form there.

Please remember to sign messages on talk pages by typing ~~~~ which translates into your signature by magic. Fiddle Faddle 14:16, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have asked for other reviewers to help you further. I will step aside now. Fiddle Faddle 14:20, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
