Justification article edit

Hi,

I noticed that you appeared in the edit history of the justification (theology) article. I recently made major changes to the article in an effort to move it to NPOV. If you have any suggestions for improvement (style, content, whatever), please leave a comment on the talk page for that article. The goal is to get the article to the point that the POV and cleanup templates can be removed.

Thanks, --jrcagle 20:08, 3 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Copyright violation allegations: Tourism in Japan edit

Hi Emperorbma,

A user has put a copyright violation template on the article Tourism in Japan, to which you (and I) contributed. I think the copying is in reverse, that is, the external site copied the Wikipedia article. What do you think?

Theology of glory page edit

Theology of Glory edit

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Theology of Glory, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Theology of Glory. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Pastordavid 05:51, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

That'd make sense to me. I have revised the theology of the cross page (no references tonight, I should get to that first thing in the morning). Since I put up the prod on the theology of glory page, someone else should merge it. Pastordavid 06:05, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

re: Edinburgh underground city edit

A reading of the opening paragraph of underground city is enough to know it doesn't really apply to Edinburgh. Today the term "Underground City" is mostly exploited by the tourist industry, but it's hardly warranted. I'll expand on it in the Edinburgh article and restore the wikilink somehow. Thanks for heads up edit

I renamed the userboxes page that you asked me about (it was inadvertently misnamed--first time I'd created such a page); and I archived our discussion a few hours later. (You can find it now in User talk:NYScholar/Archive 11.) Do you think that the old page needs to be deleted, or would requesting that deletion now delete the redirected page? Thanks. If you reply here, I will find see your reply. (Please see: User:NYScholar/Userboxes for the renamed/redirected page.) --NYScholar 19:03, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

  • You're welcome and I'm glad my comment was helpful. :) Also, it probably would be a good idea to check everything in Special:Whatlinkshere/User:NYScholar/Userboxes to see if anything important (besides automated lists) links to it. I didn't see it in the Rules, but I think that usually the admins frown on user stuff in the main namespace because it might mess with search results, so it probably would be good to ask about deletion. -- EmperorBMA|話す 19:56, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks again. I have asked for the earlier page to be deleted. --NYScholar 06:34, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Incurvatus in se edit

Hope you don't mind the secularisation, but I feel it is essential to WP:NPOV, as well as to establishing the individuals you cite as real people, philosophers and WP:RS? Though a committed atheist I have a lifelong affection for theology as a discipline and theologians as thinkers.

I am delighted to see a theological construct that is over a thousand years old that parallels EXACTLY the relatively modern (in spite of the classical connotations of it's name) concept of "Narcissism". Particularly if you look at Narcissism (psychology) and the way the psychoanalysts developed the concept. --Zeraeph 17:08, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for great ref, it is SO important to show that there is more to Narcissism as a concept than online pop psychology. Is it not curious how close Martin Luther (and very likely Augustine) were to the thinking of Freud and later others? --Zeraeph 16:48, 2 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Or course we tend to forget that these people were not special "biblical and historical" people, with especially limited "biblical and historical"minds and lives...truth is, I suppose the philosophers and priests often took the same role as the psychologists of today. --Zeraeph 18:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notice: Request for Speedy Delete (H-World) edit

A tag has been placed on H-World, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

No assertion of importance of subject.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

I must have done something wrong edit

I attempted to add to your article on Martian Successor Nadesico and its been delited so either i didn't put it up right or something umm heres the sum of what i put up, if you wish to add it in properly that would be great.

Nadesico had a wide arrangement ships whether it be the High Mobile Battleships, U.E.A.F various ships, the Jovian ships or the Astevalis, or the various shuttles and standard fighters

Nergal Heavy industries High Mobile Battleships – These ships were designed as the first actual defense against the “Jovian Jovian’s” and their Phase transition driven ships, these ships came standard with their own phase transition engines as well as their primary armament the Gravity Blast cannon. A list of these ships follows. ND-001 Nadesico- the first battleship created by Nergal it later received a Y unit which gave it 4 phase transition engines instead of the standard 2 and gave it an added weapon called the PT cannon (Phase Transition cannon which imposed 2 folds of space over the same area thus obliterating all matter within the area. ND-002 Cosmos- The Nadesico’s sister ship and first ship to employ a multi barrel Gravity Blast Canon. Also this ship doubled as a space dock facility for all Nadesico class ships, it achieved this by altering its configuration by splitting the forward section and extending it, the one drawback appeared to be that neither the cosmos nor the ship docked in its bay could move during this procedure. ND-003 Shaku-yaku this ship an identical clone of the Nadesico unfortunately never launched it was crushed before it could be completed and its distortion fields raised, however this ship was a prototype using the Y unit to create the PT cannon as explained above. ND-004 kakitsubata The Chairman’s personal battleship, more agile than the ND-001 it also had no visible restrictions to the number of gravity blasts it could fire while in a planet’s atmosphere as opposed to the ND-001 which could only fire 1 gravity blast every 20 minutes Astevalis- a mecha combat frame which could be armed with various weapons and can be configured to different configurations, all Astevalis are powered by a Gravitron Wave Beam a form of directed energy from whatever Nergal ship they are launched from they also like the High Mobile Battleships have a distortion field that when used in an high velocity attack becomes a fairly devastating weapon. This mode of attack is only available to the air and space combat frames for obvious reasons. Their standard weapons are a machine gun type weapon as well as a knife capable of penetrating distortion fields however angle of attack is key there.

Ground combat frame – this Astevalis is the most basic version with a jump jet for short liftoffs, it carries the same armaments as all the other frames with the exception of the heavy weapons frame with one addition a so called Gekigen punch. This attack uses one of the robots fists and shoots it out, its connected to the Astevalis by some sort of high grade wire. Air combat unit - This unit is used for inter atmosphere and sub orbital combat as first seen in episode (3?) this unit has one additional feature that the fore mentioned models don’t, its cockpit and head peace are interchangeable while in flight, this operation is codenamed “cross crash” by Guy Digoji/jyro Yamata. Space Combat frame- this frame is for combat in space obviously, it’s a slimmer model than the land air or heavy weapons frame. The smaller size in combination with the 4 thrusters plus at least 8 other orientation thrusters provide for better than average mobility. Heavy weapons frame- This frame is truly just an ad on to almost any frame except for the space frame, its designed to take extreme punishment and deliver an incredible payload which includes standard rockets and a large gun capable of firing delayed explosive rounds or several other types not specified, not much is said about this model other than it is meant to blow a lot of things up.

U.E.A.F Not many specifics were given as to the types and numbers of the U.E.A.F Fleet however everything from traditional fighter jets to interstellar battleships were seen, their primary weapons until Nergal Heavy Industries contracted with them seemed to be some sort of laser, which proved utterly ineffective. Once however, the U.E.A.F contracted with Nergal presumably their fleet was updated relatively quickly,(the show suggests that nearly their entire lunar operations fleet.) was outfitted with Gravity Blast Cannons and Phase Transition Engines.

Jovian Lizards/The Jovian Superior Male Forces (To save time ill just refer to them as the Jovian’s.)

The Jovian’s employed shockingly few variations of their crafts, the grasshoppers and jiros (so named by the U.E.A.F.) The Small medium and large battleships that would make up the bulk of the lizard’s unmanned fleet, latter the Jovian’s introduced a multi sectioned ship which was never named except for its weaponry, this craft was the first and only craft to hold actual Jovian’s living humans, though they had been genetically enhanced to withstand the stress of bosun jumping through the chulips . This type of craft held 2 advantages over all others. The first was the Bosun or Leap cannon which jumped warheads to precise locations; its only downfall was its range limitation. It couldn’t jump a warhead passed the Nadesico’s standard range. The second was its cargo, the Daimajin or Dinjin for short, also called a Geki-Gengar and goliath type by Ruri Hoshino onboard the Nadesico

As you can see i tried to make a comprehensive list of all major ships and notable tech in the anime as i noticed it was lacking it, if you want me to change it or do something different just tell me and ill see what i can do, thanks Drop me a line at chapin.mahoney@gmail.com if you need anything

The article Zeon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article seems to fail WP:FICTION and WP:GNG quite clearly. Perhaps it could be transwikified to Gundam Wikia, but as written it doesn't belong on Wikipedia.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:04, 11 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
