May 2022

edit

Hello, I'm M.Bitton. I noticed that you recently removed content from Amr ibn al-As Mosque without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ways to improve Abu Obaida (Hamas)

edit

Hello, EditMaker Me,

Thank you for creating Abu Obaida (Hamas).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Seems like a paragraph in Hamas article would cover this rather than a standalone article which says very little

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Slywriter}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Removal of the template

edit

Hi. Why did you remove the notability template? What criteria for the notability do you see for this person? Thanks. With regards, Oleg Y. (talk). 13:04, 21 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. The subject of the article's death has been widely covered by the media, so I believe that makes it notable. If there was a Wikipedia policy against the removal, I'd be more than happy to put it back.
Regards, EditMaker Me (talk) 14:40, 21 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

August 2022 Tripoli clashes moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, August 2022 Tripoli clashes, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
