List of WCW World Heavyweight Champions

Thank you for your comments on this list. I've fixed the article according to your suggestions. The sources are used in many other wrestling articles. Wrestling-Titles.com is one that has been recommended to me as a particularly good source of title reigns. When I was working on the SummerSlam (1993) article, all of my references for PPV results were replaced with Pro Wrestling History references, as it was considered a good source. Every time I've included it, though, I've also included a WWE reference for extra verification. Jericho

It is not similarly to Jericho. He won the WCW Title straight up in a match against the Rock in December. At that point, the title was defended against Austin, where it was unified. But the point is there was a distinct moment where Jericho was seen as the WCW Champ. The same can't be said for RVD and the Euro/Hardcore Titles. Mshake3 14:32, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

John Layfield's wife takes serious heat over Citigroup financial advice on November 1 2007. Brooke Adams (known simply as Brooke) was released from World Wrestling Entertainment on November 1 2007. Lilian Ellison (known as The Fabulous Moolah) passed away November 2 2007 at age 84. Chris Mordetsky and Harry Smith (known as Chris Masters and D.H. Smith, respectively) were suspended from World Wrestling Entertainment as of November 2 2007 for Wellness Policy violations. Mordetsky was released from his contract six says later.

Featured List of the Day Experiment

There have been a series of proposals to initiate a Featured List of the Day on the main page. Numerous proposals have been put forth. After the third one failed, I audited all WP:FL's in order to begin an experiment in my own user space that will hopefully get it going. Today, it commences at WP:LOTD. Afterwards I created my experimental page, a new proposal was set forth to do a featured list that is strikingly similar to my own which is to do a user page experimental featured list, but no format has been confirmed and mechanism set in place. I continue to be willing to do the experiment myself and with this posting it commences. Please submit any list that you would like to have considered for list of the day in the month of January 2008 by the end of this month to WP:LOTD and its subpages. Hi. Thanks for your diligence on disambiguating references to DC's Vertigo imprint. You might want to hold off for a bit; there's been active discussion for a couple of weeks now at Talk:Vertigo Comics about moving the article since "Vertigo Comics" turns out to be an actual trademark or the formal name of the imprint, which is simply "Vertigo". Project News Royal Rumble has been elevated to Featured list status. Its nomination page can be viewed here. WrestleMania III has been elevated to Good article status. New Year's Revolution (2007) is currently a Featured article candidate. Its nomination page can be found here. 2007 WWE Draft is currently a Featured list candidate. Its nomination page can be found here. Briscoe Brothers, King of the Ring (1994) and No Way Out (2004) are currently Good article candidates. The focus on improving Stub-class articles is continuing to pay off, as the number of stubs has reduced from 732 to 717 over the past week. To see a list of important stubs that need some work, or to suggest a stub that you think should be improved, check out stub article subpage. Current Events As of January 2, SmackDown! Superstar Drew McIntyre has been drafted to the Raw brand. As of January 4, Raw Assistant General Manager, Jonathan Coachman has been drafted to the Smackdown! brand to replace JBL as color commentator. On January 12, World Wrestling Entertainment, in conjunction with Bakus International, will begin airing WWE Programming on Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (SBT) in Brazil. Collaboration of the Week The Pro Wrestling Collaboration of the Week for January 6 through January 12 is Dusty Rhodes (wrestler). Please help to improve it to match the quality of an ideal Wikipedia professional wrestling related article. The next article for collaboration will be chosen on Sunday, January 13.
