Thank you for this information. I am still learning how to edit in Wikipedia. The blog site is my site - and it is an authoritative website on the subject. I do not see this as a conflict of interest because my website is the only of its kind that addresses the topic of contemporary urban fiction. Thank you for your consideration. Insuda's photo edit
It would be best to "send in" the permission letter, so the permission can be recorded and can't be challenged at a later date. The one thing they take seriously is copyrighted photos and they do scans to check for possible copyright problems. By "they", I mean the evil people at OTRS. They are the only people I hate dealing with around here. They are nice people, but they have a lawyer mentality to cross every t and dot every i.
Send an email with the permission to: permissions-commons@wikimedia.org
It will take some time to get what they exactly want. Hopefully everything goes well, but be prepared for misery.
Also, you should move the photo to Commons. If the photo resides there, then it can be used on any language Wikipedia. If you need help with that, I can move it for you.

File permission problem with File:Inusa Dawuda Ibiza 2007.jpg edit
Thanks for uploading File:Inusa Dawuda Ibiza 2007.jpg, which you've sourced to Inusa Dawuda. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en
wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
