Erm... why did you do this? - wolf 10:44, 5 October 2023 (UTC)

Documentation on the evolution of a page should be saved. deisenbe (talk) 11:49, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
It was saved, and still is, on the archive page, where is belongs. What makes this strange is, you appear to be somewhat familiar with archiving, and your very own talk page has been archived onto 15 pages. And apparently, you even have a bot all set-up to do it for you. How can you not be familiar with this? (Unless someone else set all that up for you.)
Anyway, like many, many articles on WP, CBP's talk page is manually archived. It's common on the slower pages. This post has been there for over five (5) years. It was well overdue to be archived, and that is what I did. I even added "arc", an abbreviation for "archiving", to the edit summary. Now what makes this even stranger, is that despite the edit summary, and the archive box right there at the top of page, and all the archiving on your very own page... it didn't occur to you that the post was simply archived. It also didn't occur to you to simply ask me why I (apparently) just deleted that post. Nope, instead you go right to revert button, and tack on a somewhat dictatorial summary, ordering me to "Leave documenation on the page".
You're not new. You've got a lot of years and a lot of edits on this project, so I don't really get why you did this. But, at this point, I don't care. Your revert was clearly an error. I'm going to correct it, and then we can the go about our separate ways. Cool? Cool. Have a nice day. - wolf 13:13, 5 October 2023 (UTC)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
