Mohamed Omar Hagi Mohamoud moved to draftspace - inadequately referenced BLP edit

An article you recently created, Mohamed Omar Hagi Mohamoud, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:11, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi — I've moved this article to draft space, because it is a biography of a living person (see WP:BLP), for which reason extra care must be taken to ensure that every material statement is supported by citing reliable, independent sources. Currently most of the article is unreferenced.
On a separate but related point, you must show that the person has been discussed in multiple secondary sources, at sufficient length and depth to amount to 'significant coverage' (see WP:GNG), to establish the subject's notability, which is a core requirement for inclusion in an encyclopaedia. Of the sources currently cited, the gov.tw ones are not secondary, and the others do not provide significant coverage. Best, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:38, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Cobosha. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:39, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Help me! edit

Please help me with... Dear Wikipedia Team I have created two new articles; one for Hargeisa water agency general manager Mohamed Ali Darod and another article for Sagal Jet digital printing company Sagal Jet. the two articles are still not reviewed by wikipedia team, so i would like to request that the two articles be reviewed for approval. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Best Regards Cobosha Cobosha (talk) 03:56, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

They will be reviewed in due course. Is there a particular reason you need a speedy review? Even if nothing is done, I think it is automatically marked as reviewed after a time(I think 30-60 days). 331dot (talk) 08:55, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Sagal Jet edit

Hello Cobosha,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sagal Jet for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
