Hello, I'm Sungodtemple. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Young John, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sungodtemple (talk) 14:20, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I can confirm that i have authoritative rights to edit the information on his page. Could you please restore the version? I am also not paid to make the edits. It is an effort to ensure that accurate information is put out about him. Chidera D.O. (talk) 14:55, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
You are paid to make the edits since you literally said you are a staff at his record lable. And you do not have any authoritative right to edit the info on the page. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:56, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Chidera D.O.. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Young John, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Chidera D.O.. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Chidera D.O.|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. You said you are a member of his record label which means you are paid.Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:52, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am not paid to make the edits. It is an effort to ensure that the information on his page is accurate Chidera D.O. (talk) 14:56, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
See my comment above. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:57, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
The information on this page is literallyoutdated. What then do you advise? Chidera D.O. (talk) 15:00, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Well first you need to declare that you are being paid (and don't say you aren't because you being a staff member at the record label means you are being paid). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:01, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Got it. So, having an affliation with the subject's organization falls under the 'being paid to edit' category? Chidera D.O. (talk) 15:05, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
If you are a paid employee yes. Otherwise it's simply a WP:COI. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:20, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Got it. Can you go through the edits then, so they can be restored?
Thanks Chidera D.O. (talk) 12:46, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Since you are a paid editor, you must submit articles through the articles for creation process, and not move them directly to mainspace yourself. Please do not move the page to mainspace again. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 22:37, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

It’s been submitted that way for a long while with nothing done about it. Can you help? Chidera D.O. (talk) 22:42, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
It wasn't that there was nothing being done about it - the previous draft was rejected for not being notable. The draft is also extremely promotional and reads more like an advertisement than an encyclopedia article. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 22:45, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:3 andrea.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 02:34, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Andrea Bonaceto moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Andrea Bonaceto, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 23:43, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Chidera D.O.. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Andrea Bonaceto".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. plicit 02:35, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your contributions to Sifax Group. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Sifax Group

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Sifax Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.citypeopleonline.com/how-dr-taiwo-afolabi-runs-his-sifax-group/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ASUKITE 15:01, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
