Request reason:

I am an artist and I have my own label. When I search for other people, like Barry Manilow for example, I see they have an artist page that shows stuff about them and I see stuff about their albums and labels and I'm just trying to figure out how to do the same. We don't get to promote ourselves or our bands on Wikipedia. There aren't "artist pages" on Wikipedia; there are articles about notable subjects.
