Noah Dietrich edit

You alleged that Noah Dietrich is a copyvio from here, but that site clearly states that their source is wikipedia. Also, a cursory examination of the edit history shows that the article grew organically. Please do a little (I mean a little) research before slapping the copyvio tag on and wasting other people's time. --rogerd (talk) 16:27, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I do apologize for the mix up. I've been sorting through a number of articles and when I did a google search for the exact text I found a match. I'll be honest, its nearly 10am where I am and I have yet to get to bed. Seems the lack of sleep got the best of me there. I do appreciate your diligence in picking up on my mistake though. Once again, sorry about that :) Bvlax2005 (talk) 16:44, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
No problem, thanks. --rogerd (talk) 19:30, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: edit

are entering the author of the article, because I can not make a link or post a short summary? Thank you, you are very kind

A study conducted in Italy, based on not unlike the times tide of sun and moon shows, directly, that the speed of gravity is equal to the speed of light. This means that the force of gravity is a wave electromagnetic that is travelling at 300.000 km per second.

Removal of prods edit

Just so you are aware anyone, inlduing the page's author, can remove a prod and once removed it can not normally be readded (see WP:PROD#Conflicts). Hence I've removed the prod you restored to The Tattooed Lady of Lochee. If you wish for this article to be deleted you will now have to take it to AfD. Dpmuk (talk) 14:52, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I actually just noticed the change and was about to leave a message on your talk page! Sorry about the mix up, but I do have a quick question: Does the same apply to speedy deletion templates also? Bvlax2005 (talk) 14:53, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
No, article creators can't remove speedy tags. IMO it's really bizzare the way they can remove one but not the other and this often causes confusion amongst editors - both those creating pages and those like you that are trying to get rid of some of the rubbish on wikipedia. Personally I don't think creators should be able to remove prods but unfortunately rules are rules and I've not been around long enopugh to attempt to change them. Dpmuk (talk) 14:58, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I think that is where the confusion began. I was assuming that speedy tags and prod tags had the same logistics behind them. Thanks for catching me on that though!  :) Bvlax2005 (talk) 15:03, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I thought I had time to add the AJC news stories and the other southern papers as well as the interview with the Atlanta Business Journal. So would the press coverage then be enough —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dexter Porter (talkcontribs) 22:55, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

impressive speed of reponse edit

Do appreciate your help today. Cufflinks (talk) 14:02, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not a problem! I generally keep an eye out on the help desk. When I first started on Wikipedia there was a LOT of information to take in. So I try to make getting started just a tiny bit easier on others. And by the way, welcome to Wikipedia! Bvlax2005 (talk) 14:13, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Styr Nythas edit

Hi! Thanks a lot for your help. I complained to the admin risponsible for the deletion of my article: [1]. I will try what you told me. Buy I defenitely don't understand this way of working inside wikipedia, it's giving no change to collaborative work. What is the tag "stub" used for? How to indicate it when you create and article to provoce a reaction and the interest of other editors who may have knowledge or data to expand it? Can other editors see my article if I provisionally publish it in the way you have indicated me? Thanks!--Monturiol (talk) 09:10, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

My evil Volcano edit

LOL. A "mini-me" of the base

LOL yes but of course it is intended to represent my underground lair in deepermost Japan that was previously owned by Emperor Hirohito as a beauty parlour in the "sixties". It shows an uncanny resemblance to the volcano with the fake lake in the film! You can see inside my volcano lair here. I bid you adieau The Bald One White cat 09:42, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Barnstar edit

Thanks for the star! :D. That's actually brightened up my day quite a lot; i'm creating the pages as part of a project to get something up to Featured status, a project which has so far netted me 60 pages; it's nice to know it isn't all in vain! :), Ironholds 07:11, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dedication indeed, but i'm almost there :). Only got... 100 years worth of articles left to cover. :P. Ironholds 07:16, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cloudism edit

I've declined the speedy tag you placed on Cloudism. The reason I declined it is because the article is about a religion, not its believers. The article is now up for AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cloudism, since the author contested a PROD. For your information, עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 14:16, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
