Your VandalProof Application edit

Dear AniChai,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof.

Commercial use of Image:Kahane.png edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Kahane.png, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Kahane.png is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Kahane.png itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 16:03, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate images uploaded edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Kahane.png. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Image-Kahane.png. The copy called Image:Image-Kahane.png has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 20:46, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

A bit extreme edit

You left a note on my page asking if I knew about Kahanism. Yes, I do know about him. I agree with some of his ideas- but not all. It seems like he wanted to turn Israel into a Taliban-like state, except of course with Judaism as the religion. Secondly he would have made us look like Nazi's by expelling all Arabs (Christians AND Muslims) from Israel. Whether or not you believe in this, you have to keep your opinions to yourself. If all the white people who didn't like black people in United States made groups like "Deport all blacks to Detroit" what do you think would happen to them? Probably the same thing that happened to Kahane. Anyways, I am right wing but you are off the scale. Not only do you advocate Kahanism but you say global warming is bogus, support the death penalty, and spell G-D together in your User Box! Kinda makes me think this is a fake account to make Jews look bad. --Noble Jew 17:00, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Spam in Lunapads edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Lunapads, by Pegship (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Lunapads is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Lunapads, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 21:24, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Matthew Gold edit

A tag has been placed on Matthew Gold requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kannie | talk 02:58, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Matthew Gold edit

I have nominated Matthew Gold, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matthew Gold. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Keilana(recall) 04:09, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

You may want to look at Wikipedia's notability guidelines. At a minimum, you will need to say why the subject is notable in the text of the article, and back up your claims with reliable, third-party sources. Hope this helps. Regards, Keilana(recall) 05:19, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that is correct, you may also want to look at how to reference articles. Keilana(recall) 05:23, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Feel free to work on it; you've got 5 days. Keilana(recall) 05:38, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm always happy to help anyone who needs it. You may add your comments to the page by editing it and typing "# (your rationale for keeping the article) ~~~~" without the quotation marks. You will not be notified by the closing admin, your best bet is to watchlist the debate and you will see when it's closed. Keilana(recall) 05:44, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Template:Kahanist edit

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{tranclusionless}}</noinclude>).

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Temple Beth Emet (Cooper City, Florida) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
