Your contributed article, Military Forces of Saudi Arabia edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Military Forces of Saudi Arabia. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Vexations (talk) 12:56, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia into Saudi Arabian Military Forces. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 00:09, 2 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

July 2023 edit

Your recent editing history at National Hadhrami Council and Hadhramout National Council (a redirect to the first link) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. It seems that you are the one who made this fake slogan for the council. You are well aware that the name you are adopting is wrong, but you continue to mess around. Alhadramy Alkendy (talk) 10:57, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have provided sources for my edits and you clearly know that. this logo has been used by multiple news articles, but the flag that you are using is not being used by the council as there are no sources to backup your claim with. Abo Yemen 11:02, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Abo Yemen The delegation of the National Council in Hadramout was received at Seiyun Airport under the flag of Hadramout. The fake slogan it adopted was not raised by the participants in the Hadhrami delegation. And the sources that I have attached are on unofficial sites. Alhadramy Alkendy (talk) 11:17, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
first of all you'll have to give sources that mentions the founders of the council using the flag in seiyun airport. Secondly you could have just added the flag without removing the logo (after providing sources of course).
lastly you have said that the sources that you "have attached are on unofficial sites", which makes them unreliable sources...
Abo Yemen 11:27, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also the spelling that you are using for the english article is Hadhramout National Council which is wrong as it is supposed to be Hadramawt National Council as used by these sources:-

You are putting sources opposite to what you say.. Have you seen the sources you are putting?

I'm not going to get into an argument with you. I'll leave it as it is. Wikipedia is getting funny Alhadramy Alkendy (talk) 06:23, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
yk the reason that i am reverting your edits is because of the flag that you're putting. Ill put it back to the Hadhramout National Council but ill remove both the flag and icon till we see an official icon/logo Abo Yemen 08:56, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

August 2023 edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. This was a couple years ago when you moved Tarim, Yemen to Tarim, Hadhramaut but I still felt it best to notify you so you don't make the same mistake again. Happy editing, estar8806 (talk) 15:28, 5 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

if you're going to move the old page history can you move the old talk page too? Abo Yemen 16:19, 5 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

King Fahd Sports City (Taif) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, King Fahd Sports City (Taif), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://travelwithtaangoo.com/locations/view/Jeddah. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Sha'ab Hadramaut moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Sha'ab Hadramaut, is not suitable as written to remain published. What I did was correct the name of the article from Al-Shaab Hadramaut to Sha'ab Hadramaut Alhadramy Alkendy (talk) 09:08, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your efforts with this. If you think that the existing Al-Shaab Hadramaut should be renamed, then you're welcome to propose this at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Wikishovel (talk) 09:40, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
