I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Alicia juarez, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Pages that are in a foreign language should be tagged with {{notenglish}} - just not being in English is not enough reason for them to be deleted. Parvathy Soman and speedy deletion

I think perhaps you're misunderstanding how speedy deletion works. That process is supposed to be the exception, not the norm, and can only be used in a very narrow set of specified circumstances. Parvathy Soman has at least one reference, which includes a claim of importance. The reference is from a national newspaper, so you can't just declare it "fake". If you want the article deleted, please open an AfD on the article, and allow a longer community discussion to take place. Qwyrxian (talk) 03:28, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
