August 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Exponents has been reverted.
Your edit here to The Exponents was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmzLGVGZkVQ, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GmCr-w6HHE&feature=BFa&list=TLCEvoEQ8QXcA&index=5, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv26W8gb3BQ&feature=BFa&list=TLCEvoEQ8QXcA&index=1, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXcLVRThJMk&feature=BFa&list=TLCEvoEQ8QXcA&index=2, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EpUvW9_oKE&feature=artistob&playnext=1&list=TLCEvoEQ8QXcA, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k232-KEekjo&feature=BFa&list=TLCEvoEQ8QXcA&index=7, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqP_hVs7LTA&feature=BFa&list=TLCEvoEQ8QXcA&index=6) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:The Exponents 1.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:The Exponents 1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 23:43, 22 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Prayers_Be_Answered_(Dance_Exponents_Album) edit

I'm posting this message on your talk page because I noticed that you've recently created the new article Prayers Be Answered (Dance Exponents Album)--However, I noticed there are some holes that may need filling the article currently does not contain any references. As a new article, the most important thing is to find reliable references for all existing information.Amy Z 19:38, 23 August 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amyxz (talkcontribs)

Orphaned non-free image File:Grassy Knoll small.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Grassy Knoll small.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 06:07, 24 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:SomethingBeginningWithC.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:SomethingBeginningWithC.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sumanch (talk) 21:15, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Live at Mainstreet edit

Curious as to why you added http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Live_At_Mainstreet.tiff to replace http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Live_at_Mainstreet_Cover.jpg . I can't see any difference between the two files other than that the former has a larger file size since it was a TIFF.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Why Does Love Do This To Me Thumb.jpg) edit

  Thanks for uploading File:Why Does Love Do This To Me Thumb.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:24, 2 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Airway spies. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Universal Music New Zealand, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
