AfC notification: Draft:Chandrashekar S Patil has a new comment

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Chandrashekar S Patil. Thanks! Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 01:47, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I looked at your comment regarding the notability of Chandrashekhar Patil. I would like to inform to you that the book is available only on Amazon India https://amazon.in/ and not on any other Amazon websites outside India. This I believe due to book export restrictions. The book can be purchased here https://www.amazon.in/Tiger-Hydrabad-Karanataka-Chandrashekhar-Mahagaon/dp/B07R3KQHQG Additionally, the book published by the Government of Karnataka is available for free on the Karnataka Government website which I have added as a reference but however is in Kannada, the local language spoken where Chandrashekhar Patil lived. Also you state "Does that make him in and of himself notable?" Yes, because in his memory, the government has invested in the following, all named after the subject: A dam in Mahagaon, A university in Gulbarga (https://cpmhostel.hkes.edu.in/load?menu=m02&page=about-college), a cricket stadium in Gulbarga (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Chandrasekhar+Patil+Stadium/@17.3191587,76.8369902,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x5103e0a88ab8602a?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjUybqmqIv0AhXLSH0KHYasBMcQ_BJ6BAg6EAU) and a local area within Gulbarga called "Chandrashekhar Patil Nagar" all of which I have personally visited. Only a person with enough notability will be honored with all this and hence I believe that this article should be approved. Additionally, the Government of Karnataka has added a short story about him in the Kannada Literature book which is used to teach Kannada to students who are enrolled in a school teaching the Karnataka government syllabus. I am trying to get this book and will add it as a reference once I receive it. I hope this information will clarify the doubts you have. Adityadesai0 (talk) 12:54, 9 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Acharya Institute for Innovation and Transformation moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Acharya Institute for Innovation and Transformation, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
