Hi, Adam. I noticed that you undid my revision to the B1192 entry at the B roads in Zone 1 of the Great Britain numbering scheme page.

Essentially, my amendment concerned the southern end-point of this road. According to all the sources I have been able to consult (lincolnshire.gov.uk, magic.gov.uk, Ordnance Survey maps, among others), the B1192 terminates at its junction with the B1397 in Kirton, at Grid Reference TF305385 (Willington Road B1192 / London Road B1397 / High Street B1397). The road -- Station Road (west) -- which connects the High Street to the A16 roundabout mentioned in your original entry is a branch of the B1397 according to all those sources. -- Picapica (talk) 13:39, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Yes, there's a very good way of doing this: When you first use the ref that you want to use ore then once, use the text "<ref name="name">url, ref detail etc</ref>", and when you want to use that same reference, you just say "<ref name="name"/>". I've been asked by this editor (through email) to comment on this. I've suggested that they wait out the block, but they would still prefer if I comment, so here goes: I've explained to them about edit warring (something they claimed not to understand, and asked for me to). I doubt they plan to edit war again, so this block is slightly punitive, especially considering that the edit warring is not current, and hadn't been explained properly. And their edits are clearly in good faith. Also, removing the speedy deletion was deemed to be correct by SoWhy, and removing the prod was actually correct, as it shouldn't have been re-added, although admittedly he, being the creator, shouldn't have done that themselves. Colours

Hi there, a simply way to get other colours is using <font color=#009900>green text here</font> which gives you green text here. You're probably wondering what the numbers "009900" mean. You give it how much red, green and blue you want, and the way that works is RGB. So if you want a lot of blue, you say 000099 , alot of red, you say 990000, a lot of green and you say what I did before. if you want a mixture of red and green, you'd say 990099. Basically the first two numbers are the amount of red, the two after that are the amount of green, and the two after that the amount of blue: 208923. I think you can just add style="background:backcolour; color:textcolour" and replace the "backcolour" and "textcolour" with the names of the colours you want to use (e.g. "red" and "black"). Add that after class="wikitable" width=##%, fr an end result of something like: class="wikitable" width=100% style="background:red; color:black". Bus routes in Eastleigh and Romsey

Hi there. I've noticed you've been undoing several of my constructive additions to the article you started on bus routes in Eastleigh and proximity. You should know that wikipedia is open for anybody to edit and change, and that it is improper behavior to claim an article as only your own.

I feel you may think the tags I'm adding to your article will make it more prone to deletion or other such things. On the contrary, it will bring in editors who specialize in making lists and tables look proper according to the manual of style (Which you should read to better understand the edits that I made), and will help to improve the article and connect it with other articles in the encyclopedia (That article is only linked from and to one or two other articles). Please do not remove the tag templates unless it is obviously justified without giving some reasoning at the article's talk page.

Again, I am not trying to strip your article of content, I'm trying to make it more understandable to the average reader. Say myself, who lives in Toronto, Canada, and had no idea where Eastleigh, Hedge End, and Romsey were. I had to make Eastleigh into a link and hope that there were no other towns with that name. I assume it is the eastleigh that is one of the small towns bridging Winchester and Southampton in Hampshire, England.

I see you're already trying to get the hang of it :) Might I suggest that instead of linking all the items in the table (Which a lot of things appear more than once, such as the operators, and Eastleigh Bus station for example), that you mention some of the items in the intro, and link from there. For example:

These are lists of the bus routes through Romsey, Eastleigh & Hedge End, Hampshire, England. Like many other inter-town bus networks throughout england, it is run by a fleet of (make/model) buses operated by Bluestar, (etc list of the companies).

You might also look into how long bus service has operated in Eastleight/Romsey and mention that.

Not necessarily: but you are making an awful lot of small edits to this page (and others over the last week or so), and if you look at the page history, you'll see that you have made almost 180 edits to this one article in just five days. Hi Adam. You removed the deletion notice without actually fixing the problem. You must add a copyright tag to the image but all you added was a statement that it was for use on Wikipedia with an author name which is not you. Does that mean only on Wikipedia, public domain or one of the Creative Commons freely licenced tags? If it is "Wikipedia only," that is an incompatible licence we don't accept. Secondly the image is not your, so you need to get the copyright holder to email us their permission per WP:CONSENT. You will find it useful to read my image copyright information page but as it stands that image will be nominated for deletion as having no valid copyright licence. Some important advice regarding privacy and omnibuses

1. Read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors.

Every page I created he supports its deletion. Well, I've got a couple of points there. Firstly, do try and remember to assume good faith - I'm sure Charles is trying to improve the encyclopedia. AIV report

I'm not sure if you were aware of this, but blocked IP editors typically can still edit the contents of their own Talk page, unless an admin disables their ability to do so. The latter may happen in cases of egregious behavior such as grossly insulting, degrading or offensive text left on the Talk page. Right. So, looking at it, you've made 16 good anti-vandalism edits (along with 2 that I wouldn't but I won't disagree with), well done. However, you should know that there are a few issues.

• You're reporting to AIV straight after final warnings/only warnings - that shouldn't be done unless a user has vandalised after the warning.
• [1] This edit you reverted as a "good faith edit", but used the edit summary rvv. Rvv means ReVert Vandalism, though the edit wasn't vandalism. If you're reverting a good faith edit, please put a note about why you're reverting in the edit summary box. ("rvgf" is not sufficient either, explain why you are reverting, and get ready to WP:BRD)
• [2] I'm not sure why you reverted this at all. you gave no reason except "revert good faith". Generally, reverting talk pages is a no-no, there's no good reason for it.
• [3] is a test edit, not vandalism. You've no reason to think it was intentional, remember to assume good faith. (especially as you went on to report them to AIV!)
• [4] This wasn't even close to vandalism - it was good faith and right!
• [5] why are you warning people when you haven't done a revert?
• [6] "link vandalism"? really? why?
• [7] good faith edit - not vandalism.
• [8] What? That's good!
• [9] - good faith addition. quick check on IMDb confirms he was in "The Mack".

Now, mislabeling edits as vandalism is a very bad thing to do, as it drives of new editors (WP:BITE), and will likely get you into a lot of difficulty. Basically, if there is any doubt over whether the edit is vandalism or not, don't label it as vandalism. Remember what I said - it has to be intentionally harming the encyclopedia. Right, well I didn't realise I had t give a reason for reverting anything, so sorry about that.

• In most cases, when I have issued a level 4 warning and then reported to AIV, was when that user has already vandalised several times after level 4 warnings, not necesarily my one.
• The talk page one was an accident, I didn't realise it was a talk page and reverted my edit (I think I did or at least I meant to but got distracted)
• Some of the good ones, either seemed sort of weird (like the Blakplotation Film) or with the math one, I thought it didn't really fit in to the rest.
• Test edit ones, is there a ntification template saying something about them?

Sorry about that, I was trying to do my best and I think I may have got carried away a bit. I'll make sure I only revert what I'm sure is vandalism, but I have one question: How to tell a test edit from vandalism if it doesn't make sense (e.g. random letters)?

It's ok, I should have been more clear in the first place. Vandalism is a loaded word on Wikipedia, effectively you are comparing those good faith edits to that of someone who says "I liek Dickkkkkk LOLOLOL". It's quite rude when you think about it. I'm not saying that the edits shouldn't have all been reverted, just not as vandalism. As long as it doesn't happen in future, I'm sure it'll be no big deal.

As to your question, if it doesn't make sense, undo it - it could well be a test edit. A test edit becomes vandalism when they keep doing them, and it's clear they're just trying to muck up things.

monetary socialism

Hello,

I have seen you reverted my answer to money socialism question on talk:socialism page with no reason I can understand. I know that socialism is a disputed article. I am pretty sure that words (for instance socialism) does not have the same meaning depending of the country and the Value system: I will not develop this here because it is yet vaguely explained in the socialism page. I just tried to give my answer of the moment to the question about monetary socialism, on the Talk:Socialism page.

You have chosen to consider my answer as not being good faith. In fact, I was probably wrong when I believed monetary socialism was invented by the tea party, but one fact is those two words are used together in blogs and political debates (about 1000 occurrences in google). For instance, the Czech EU Council President Václav Klaus consider creating realistic parities constitutes monetary socialism according to the Goethe institut [10]. A second fact is that monetary socialism is not defined anywhere. If it is defined somewhere, please, give a reference.

Now my answer was confused by a third fact which is socialism label seams to be widely used in united states in 2009. This label was used neither to criticize capitalism nor to refer to a concrete socialist movement, but to caricature the democrats and the society. That 's probably why the New York Times asked some people Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor, The Nation; Patrick Allitt, professor of American history; Steven F. Hayward, scholar, American Enterprise Institute; Andrew Hartman, historian; Terence Ball, political scientist; Charles Dunn, professor of government; Matthew Dallek, historian; Jefferson Cowie and Nick Salvatore, Cornell University [11] «What does the word mean today, nearly 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall? What role has the label played in American political history?»

From those various answers exposing different views of what socialism is, I note that “socialism” is used as a devil word to critic the Obhama administration or Franklin Roosevelt; and «“Socialism” as a stand-in for modern threats, from feminism to federal health care.». This has few in common neither with a concrete political US movement of this name nor to «a theory or policy of social organisation which aims at or advocates the ownership and control of the means of production». It looks more related to Economic interventionism or Welfare state, but socialist label is probably shorter and more pejorative from a US tax payer lobby perspective.

In my personal opinion, because politics are driven by cultural and historical perspective, which are mainly nation specific, this kind of socialism label might be documented by a word or an article, to clarify what this label refer to from an united-states perspective and in 2009. If an article can be written on this thematic, there is yet a Barack Obama "Joker" poster to illustrate such an article. It will then be possible to redirect from socialism disambiguition page.

And then, the question was: what is monetary socialism? Is it some concrete theory when pronounced by the EU Council President Václav Klaus graduated from the University of Economics and postgraduate academic career at the (state) Institute of Economics of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, or is it just a devil word pronounced by Václav Klaus the eurosceptic called "the Margaret Thatcher of Central Europe"? If you have the answer, you're welcome.

And last but not least, considering not good faith what somebody write simply because it is unclear, because we disagree, or for whatever reason is not a good way to make people agree. Removing some writings might also be considered as unfair by the author of the removed content when this author will not understand if its article was removed because of the word tea party, because of the label socialism, or because of the proposition of a new page, or all together.
