single edit

Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Songs to see how to properly format a page for an album single. the page you created Gold Soundz does not meet wikipedia standards. I would also advise you to take a look at Wikipedia: Tutorial and the wikipedia Manual of Style to better understand how to properly edit pages on wikipedia.--Tainter 21:38, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your edit to Five Iron Frenzy edit

I'm curious about this edit you made recently, specifically the blanking of "myspace.com" in the external link. You didn't provide an edit summary, so I'm not sure why the link was broken. Was it intentional? --Fru1tbat 16:06, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:A Big 10-8Place.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:A Big 10-8Place.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2007, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 13:15, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Non-free use disputed for Image:Fair Use.jpg edit

  This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Fair Use.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:08, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit Summaries edit

Hello. With all the editing you do on WP, I think it might really be a good idea to consider the use of edit summaries (see Edit_summary for info). Thanks! Doctormatt 06:56, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Our Favorite Things edit

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Our Favorite Things, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Negativland-Free-Back.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Negativland-Free-Back.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:09, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of The Greatest Taste Around edit

I have nominated The Greatest Taste Around, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Greatest Taste Around. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hey, That Guy In Everclear, I finally figured out the acronym! edit

Yeah, well, I got banned from BHZ, too. potthole became increasingly a douchebag after he took over and nearly all the moderators started to resent me for this and that even though I was one of the few left (other than moderators) from BHZ's glory days. I have become increasingly political over the past few years, and I got into a debate with anakinjmt (I think?) where he made a lot of nasty comments towards me and my positions. I responded with similar although less venomous responses (calling him a ninny at times, a word I don't know the meaning of, seriously.) potthole, who basically told me a few months before the incident that he was trying to provoke me so he could ban me, decided I was the villain in the situation and outright banned me even though I had never before been put on probation. anakin got off scot-free. A lot of my remaining friends (like you, they've been banned or left) saw this banning as completely of convenience citing anakin started it and was much more venomous about it. One of potthole's best friends in real life even supported me (and was the most vocal about it.) She left after my attempts to come back failed. She cited my banning as the prime reason.

My first online forum surely went down the tubes.

Just thought you'd like an update!PokeHomsar (talk) 04:19, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (File:E3fa 1.JPG) edit

Thanks for uploading File:E3fa 1.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 08:44, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello A&MFan! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 951 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Speedy deletion nomination of Red Rooster Records edit

A tag has been placed on Red Rooster Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Jawbox2.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Jawbox2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 14:08, 25 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
