Request reason:

The IP address which I am writing from has been flagged for vandalism but this has not happened through our activities. I use it for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - please can it be unlocked so that I can proceed with suggested changes to our page?85.115.54.202 (talk) 11:51, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Open proxies will not be unblocked, but see below. Huon (talk) 10:08, 25 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The IP address is blocked not because of vandalism, but because it is a proxy, which potentially could be used to evade Wikipedia policies by hiding the true source of edits. Is there any reason why you need to edit via this proxy, rather than directly? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 13:46, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

The IP is (one of those) used by Ealing Main Library (and possibly other LB Ealing libraries); LB Hillingdon libraries also share a different IP, and is also blocked as a proxy (ie both systems have 100+ computers on a number of different sites). Is this the 'non-technical explanation'?

Both setups do not allow account creation - perhaps there could be 'some rigmarole' involving emailing for a user name, a temporary password and a CAPTCHA rigmarole to enable new users to register.

'Not the above user of the IP' (and 'knowing only sufficient technicalities to ask the above question). 85.115.54.202 (talk) 16:08, 23 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

There is such a "rigmarole"; see Wikipedia:Request an account. Huon (talk) 10:08, 25 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

'#This user# of the LBE IP does so occasionally (and is harmless but not involved with engineering topics). 85.115.54.202 (talk) 17:39, 12 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

85.115.54.202 (talk) 08:46, 20 August 2019 (UTC) Hello, I am a Communications Manager and I am trying to edit a Wikipedia page for St Ann’s Hospital https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Ann%27s_Hospital but I am unable to do as the IP address I’m using is blocked.Reply

Could you please assist?

I need to remove the last sentence in the services section: As of 2017 there are plans to sell at least part of the site for housing in order to pay for improvements to the Trust's estate.[5]

This need to be replaced with the new copy below:

The Trust received full Planning approval in 2018 from Haringey Council for the new mental health inpatient building, to replace the current three adult mental health wards and the specialist eating disorders ward. This follows a lot of work with patients, carers and staff and the Trust’s design and build partner, Integrated Health Projects.

Construction of the new mental health building has begun with completion due by late summer 2020. This is very exciting news for the Trust, its patients and staff. It means that the current wards at St Ann’s Hospital will be replaced by brand new, state-of-the-art facilities, which will be amongst the best in the country.

The proposed residential development on the part of the site surplus to NHS needs is also progressing following the sale of the surplus land to the Greater London Authority (GLA). The GLA will develop the surplus land for housing, with at least 50% of the new homes being designated as affordable housing. 22 of the flats to be built will be available to the Trust to use to help recruit clinical staff.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Edits cannot be made by proxy if there is a block. You will need to request the creation of an account for you at WP:ACC, or create one in a different physical location. Once you have an account, you must review and comply with the conflict of interest and paid editing policies; you can then make a formal edit request on the article talk page of the hospital. 331dot (talk) 10:11, 20 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

South Oxhey is a suburb of Watford in the Watford Rural parish of the Three Rivers district of Hertfordshire, England. It is located in the south western corner of Northwood (mostly tramps hang around this area and are from here girls who look like tangerines and are annoying come out of this area with at least 3 babies by 18 as they’re all slags with a serious attitude problem) Hertfordshire and close to the boundary with Greater London. At the 2011 Census South Oxhey's population was included in the Northwick Ward of Three Rivers Council
