Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Dan Magill Tennis Complex edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Dan Magill Tennis Complex requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://georgiadogs.com/sports/2017/6/17/magill.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Dan Magill Tennis Complex, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for contributing edits to Clitoris and other related articles that were made in good faith, but have been deemed not to contribute positively to the article. These edits have thus been reverted. Wikipedia's page on unacceptable additions may explain why. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out the Teahouse, ask the Help Desk, or place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Once again, welcome! Mathglot (talk) 22:10, 8 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Medical sourcing edit

Hi 3ricCar1man,

I notice that you recently made additions to several articles where you added citations using the {{citation}} templates. Thank you for respecting Wikipedia's policy on WP:Verifiability and using citations! Unfortunately, in articles related to medical/anatomical/physiological topics such as Clitoris, Sexual intercourse, Vulva, and Vagina, the standard for content and sourcing is even higher than for articles in general, and the references you added, like wisegeek, answerbag, and so on, did not meet that standard, so they have been removed. (Even the Psychology Today article you added doesn't qualify.) Please have a look at WP:MEDRS to learn about these stricter requirements. You might also want to take a look at WikiProject Medicine; if you have any questions related to sourcing of medical issues, you can ask at the WikiProject Medicine Talk page. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 22:20, 8 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Good job on the citations you added at Tamil language, and Transmission of COVID-19. Keep up the good work! Mathglot (talk) 01:14, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

this is a test — Preceding unsigned comment added by 3ricCar1man (talkcontribs) 20:27, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Congrats, your test worked! (If you want to play around with Wikipedia syntax and other tests, feel free to click the "Sandbox" link at the top of this page; that's what it's there for.) For more on how to add to talk pages, see WP:TALK. Notice that this reply is indented one tab stop, which helps distinguish one message from another and who is responding to whom. Have a look at WP:THREAD to see how indentation works when one or more people take part in the same discussion, adding comments, and responding to each other.
Don't forget to end all your comments on talk pages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~. When you do, it will automatically be converted into your username and timestamp like the one you see at the end of this message. Once again, welcome! Mathglot (talk) 21:15, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
