Chester F.C. starting XI edit

Hi, there is consensus at WP:FOOTBALL about the merits - or lack of - in these starting XI diagrams, please do not re-add. If you do it could be considered disruptive. Any questions, please ask. GiantSnowman 18:02, 6 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I'd like to point you to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 71#Starting XIs in club season articles where the consensus was that the "starting XI" for entire seasons, as you're adding, shouldn't be in articles. Consensus can change, though, so I invite you so start a discussion on the WikiProject Football talk page if you'd like to demonstrate that this consensus has changed in the last 11 months. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Pseudonymous Rex (talk) 18:35, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Chester F.C.. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. May 2015 edit

  Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Matty Hughes. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. In addition to this, you are technically adding in factually inaccurate information by saying or implying he has left, when he hasn't. Contracts expire in June generally, so that is when articles are changed to say players have left. I note that you are persistently ignoring that procedure across multiple articles, and you've been edit-warring against that - I strongly recommend that you self-revert as well, as you have violated WP:3RR. If you do not do so, you may find yourself reported for that violation. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 08:26, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Alex Titchiner edit

There is no need to have two separate lines for the Halifax loans when they were in the same season, that is pretty much standard - and the 'Chester total' is a) wrong, b) not displaying and c) not needed. GiantSnowman 19:08, 22 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Because the two Chester spells are completely separate and should not be 'totalled' together. GiantSnowman 19:15, 22 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
I didn't notice the Witton total - not amended. No other player articles do this, and if they should they shouldn't. It doesn't matter. GiantSnowman 19:18, 22 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for April 22 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015–16 Chester F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lincoln. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Do you love Iago Aspas? It is the only item that you work. We left so do not want to meddle in the affair of you. Josepolivares (talk) 20 July 2016 (UTC)

July 2016 edit

Your recent editing history at Iago Aspas shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Violation of WP:3RR at Iago Aspas edit

Hello, I'm MYS77. You violated the three-revert rule at Iago Aspas, and I'm here to suggest a few things:

1- If you have a content dispute with someone, bring it to the talk page. Be bold, discuss and then, if necessary, revert;

2- Do not send ironic and/or satirical edit summaries. Write down what you've been doing without harming other users;

3- Your edit history shows that you once was ironic with the same user you're currently warring before. Please avoid this type of confrontation and utilize teamwork to help in the article's improvement.

Regarding your addition itself: I personally think it's unnecessary. He moved permanently to Sevilla and then to Celta in the same day. I highly doubt that he signed a permanent contract with Sevilla and then signed another with Celta. However, if you want to see more thoughts, please create a section in his talk page and we'll discuss. Cheers, MYS77 16:03, 8 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

JackErskine wanted that on his page and it was in fact you who was vandalising.

Whatever. You don't get to put that on anyone's pages, ever. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 16:18, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
