I am Chrisclaire88, a pseudonym that somewhat approximates my real name. I just started contributing to pages in early 2014. I am a professional academic, author of many books published by university presses and also author of peer-reviewed journal articles. My motivation for working with wikipedia is two-fold: one is to help increase the presence of scholars from underrepresented groups in philosophy and political theory (and other cognate fields) on Wikipedia and two is because I'm really interested in the phenomena and massive intelligence of crowd sourcing, especially when it is coupled with the rigorous and democratically agreed to norms that WP has created. So I'm really proud to be a minor player in this huge venture.
