The Queen is a documentary directed by cinematographer Frank Simon about drag pageantry in the late 60s. It document the 1967 Drag Queen Miss All America Contest at Town Hall, New york City. The event was sponsored by George Raft, Huntington Hartford (the Woolworth heir) and Edie Sedgwick. In the jury are authorJerry Leiber, music composerTerrySouthern. Andy Wharol is also a guest jury.
