Image copyright problem with Image:Trtclogo.png edit

The image Image:Trtclogo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Dubious edit

It is the judgment call to "more properly", in conjunction with the picture, which pushes this beyond merely needing a reference to being dubious. But even to list it as an alternative spelling without the characterization of "more properly" requires a reference. Gene Nygaard (talk) 10:31, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's because the spelling "Yongan" is a romanized version of the Chinese 永安. Unfortunately, when romanized, the original spelling becomes unclear, because it could be a combination of "yong" and "an" OR "yon" and "gan", both of which are possible syllables in Chinese. Finding a source for a common flaw of romanization is going to be difficult, though. -Multivariable (talk) 05:52, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Actually, nevermind. "yon" isn't a valid romanization, at least not in the commonly used romanization methods. Will scrap statement on next edit. -Multivariable (talk) 05:54, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Change to station location edit

An IP has recently been removing Yonghe District from the station location. I think I will need a second opinion on this, but it appears the station does indeed lie on the border of Yonghe and Zhonghe districts.

  • Zhonghe District map: [1]
  • Yonghe District map: [2]

If you look closely, the purple line appears to go under about half the station, making it on the district border. I am interpreting this as meaning the station lies on the border. If someone disagrees, I think this should be open to discussion. Thanks! -Multivariable (talk) 16:50, 13 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
