There are some things I am technically challenged at when it comes to Wikipedia, and one of them being image uploads. Is anyone experienced in uploading images that is able to fulfill this request? jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 23:46, 9 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Pinging @Altamel for this one. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 16:55, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the ping, jd22292. With regards to the picture, Wikipedia is freely licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, so we are unable to use copyrighted photos in our articles except under extenuating circumstances. It seems unlikely that we will be able to use that image, as it is likely copyrighted (due to legal reasons, we must assume that images on the Internet are copyrighted unless the author explicitly waives their rights). Tomm oh, if you or your organization holds the copyright to the images and are willing to grant Wikipedia permission for reuse, you may release it under a free license. Because this image has already been published on the website given with all rights reserved, you must read the instructions at commons:OTRS and send an email from a company account confirming that Wikipedia is granted the free license to use the picture if you do hold the copyright. The rest of this edit request seems to have been done already. Best, Altamel (talk) 01:46, 15 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
