I have created this article moving major chunk of the content from Flora and fauna section from Karnataka article. The page needs couple of rounds of copy editings.Gnanapiti 19:10, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Personalities edit
What is the purpose of listing people in this article ? Given that there are hundreds of researchers who study wildlife in the region with terms like "Conservationist" being grossly undefinable apart from the fact that personalities are outside the scope of the article it seems prudent to remove this section entirely.
