True meaning of ch'tis

Although the film was translated as Welcome to the Sticks, Please note the word ch'tis doesn't mean "Sticks" but "Northern French people". I am myself a "ch'ti" (prononced shtee). Our dialect called ch'ti is also known as picard. But the word cheutimi is neologism created by a Southern French guy in the film. Error in the plot

The plot description says: "he tells her the truth about the happiness and friendship that the town has brought him. Julie is disappointed at first, but after realising her husband is happy, she decides to move north to be with him." and then quite later: "As a result, Antoine proposes to Annabelle by the bell tower when it is playing a Stevie Wonder song. Annabelle accepts, and they get married."
This is wrong. Julie feels betrayed, gets furious and returns to the South. Only later in the story, when Antoine proposes to Annabelle and she accepts, Philippe drives to the South and begs Julie to join him. She then decides to follow him to the north.
