– The Taiwanese actor gets 30 views a day compared to 2 to 3 views a day for the opera singer.[1] "A topic is primary for a term...if it is highly likely—much more likely than any other single topic, and more likely than all the other topics combined—to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term," per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The point of disambiguation should be to get the reader to where he wants to go with the least amount of fuss. As editor making the disamb page for these pages, I have no issues with the proposed move. The disamb page was created assuming that there was a demand in views for the opera singer, but it seems not to be the case. – robertsky (talk) 08:43, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

I was also thinking that Wang Yaoqing (singer) might be better than Wang Yaoqing (actor, born 1881). ThuDauMot (talk) 21:13, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

ThuDauMot, I think keep as it is for the opera actor. For Peking opera, like western musicals, the roles are more associated with 'actors' (演员) rather than 'singers'. – robertsky (talk) 15:03, 6 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
