So someone in Germany said Stranders was Jewish. Is there any reliable documentation showing that one or both of his parents were Jewish? If not, is there any reliable documentation showing that Stranders converted to Judaism? Was he circumcised? The fact that someone who may have a rival or competitor said that Stranders was Jewish doesn't make it fact. I respectfully suggest that more research is needed before Stranders' alleged Jewishness is accepted as fact. 03:22, 7 November 2024 (UTC) 2603:800C:3A00:59B5:78DB:88B4:B204:76BB (talk) 03:22, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
The citation is given above; you can see it is stated plainly as fact by Adrian Weale, without caveat. We can only follow what WP:Reliable sources say. Someone has since added that he was "born into a Jewish family" into the article, I don't believe this is supported by the source so will revert - Dumelow (talk) 07:29, 8 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
