Hey, this page seems to disagree whether the subject died at age 72, or age 74. Is there any authoritative source we can use to resolve this issue? --BurritoBazooka (talk) 00:44, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Three sources used in the article (Seamheads, Baseball-reference, and Porter) all agree that he died on February 23, 1978, so I've corrected the infobox to be consistent with that date.BRMo (talk) 03:39, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
