United Democratic Forum (Kenya)United Democratic Forum Party – Official name of the party as indicated here. Ali Fazal (talk) 23:39, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • I'd go for the clear and easy-to-find United Democratic Forum Party (Kenya). Tony (talk) 10:37, 26 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
    • That might be a bad choice, because neither the party nor independent sources call them [1] United Democratic Forum Party (Kenya)] and it seems rather unlikely that a reader will come looking for that. bobrayner (talk) 12:46, 2 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per WP:NATURAL. It's also just generally a better title per WP:AT, which prescribes "recognizable" titles. The proposed title is clearly about a political party. The current title sounds more like an academic symposium or something. --BDD (talk) 23:49, 2 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose – Sources are a little thin, but it appears that at least two other countries have a United Democratic Forum; and the name is not always extended to include "Party" (like on their official web site; though when it is, they usually capitalize it). I'd leave where it is, which is as precise as necessary and as concise as reasonable. Or use United Democratic Forum of Kenya (in web search, United Democratic Forum Party of Kenya is much more common due to wiki mirrors; if might be OK if we found independent confirmation that it's common). • As per the IEBC's website, the official name of the party is UNITED DEMOCRATIC FORUM PARTY (initials: UDFP). See Registered political parties (PDF) Ali Fazal (talk) 18:55, 3 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
