– Even though the church is described as being in Ulshaw Bridge and it seems the name of the hamlet was previously "Ulshaw Bridge" it seems today the village is named "Ulshaw"[1]. See also sources like [2][3] which aren't particularly reliable but still use "Ulshaw". Apart from results for the church it seems Google results for Ulshaw Bridge are mainly for the bridge so it would probably be reasonable for the bridge to be at the base name. - Agree. Seems sensible. Bduke (talk) 04:52, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- In principle, I don't disagree, but cite 1 is Geograph - User Generated Content, and cite two is the Ulshaw on the River Nidd, not on the River Ure. You might need some reliable sources to certify the change. Regards.
- OS mapping has it as Ulshaw. The joy of all things (talk) 09:31, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- @The joy of all things: The Geograph link I mentioned is for the OS map which isn't user generated even if the images and text of images are. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:09, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- Support, given the evidence provided, this is sensible. Warofdreams talk 20:33, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
