  Moved from Turkish Riviera

--- No, hell no. The Daphne myth took place in ancient Daphne near Antioch, and this is attested in many mythological contexts. Please do not try to credit each and every natural beauty or historical landmarks to Antalya or specific touristic destinations in southwestern Turkey. Are you a travel agent lodging European tourists somewhere there or what? So, to summarize: Ancient Daphne myth was not supposed to take place near Antalya, the place was Daphne in Antioch (Antioch-ad-Orontes, present Antakya). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.30.26.15 (talkcontribs) 04:17, 3 October 2010

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Turkish Riviera. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Images

The images can be included in respective articles. There is no need for an excessive gallery of images of the islands in the article of the Turkish Riviera. Images should be included within the text. This is also according to WP:IG and WP:NOTIMAGEParadise Chronicle (talk) 16:29, 23 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

As stated in WP:IG: "A gallery section may be appropriate in some Wikipedia articles if a collection of images can illustrate aspects of a subject that cannot be easily or adequately described by text".
Though, the amount of pictures is too much (but thats my personal taste), so I will trim it accordingly. Randam (talk) 09:48, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi Randam, as to my account there are still way too many images there. Also after your edit. I agree to include Galleries in the articles about architecture, museums or artists. And to include images in the body. Also the images included in the gallery do not even include the ones of the seven world wonders of the ancient world described in the article and are repetitive in the location. See a well crafted gallery at the Women's suffrage in New Zealand article. I think also the amount of images used there is much more appropriate to the article. I will leave you with reorganizing.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 10:51, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
