Incorrect Page Name

Incorrect info regarding game engines in past games.

"The game uses Ubisoft's AnvilNext game engine, and is the first game in the Rainbow Six franchise since Rogue Spear not to use Epic's UnrealEngine."

You are forgetting Rainbow six: Lockdown and Critical Hour from 2005/6. They used a proprietary engine called "Nimitz" that was made in-house. many ex-ubisoft employees from that time period who worked on those games have mentioned the engine in their resumes, and the pc port of Lockdown is packed full of references to "Nimitz" by viewing the files. which I can confirm are not the unreal engine formats in the slightest. June 2017 copyedit

AdrianGamer and interested parties, I've completed copyedit on the article. Here are some notes:

• The attackers are then given control over wheeled drones with "drones" linked to Unmanned aerial vehicle. Is this right? I'm not sure if the wheeled drones in the game can fly. Please consider whether this should instead be linked to Unmanned ground vehicle, which includes things like those robots used to defuse landmines.
• There were two sections named Gameplay (one at level H2 and one at H3). I changed the second one (within §Development) to Testing. Feel free to change if there's a better but still fairly general term for it.
• A closed alpha-testing was held by Ubisoft during April 7–13, 2015 should the alpha- and/or beta-testing go under Development/Testing rather than Release?
• fixed the date of the Iranian Embassy siege to 1980 and wikilinked that and the Moscow theatre hostage crisis.
• Box quotes are no longer recommended for articles, so I moved that large quote at the start of §Development into a block quote (MOS:BQ).
• I feel there could be a short explanation about what "matchmaking" means in the context of the article. (I'm guessing this relates to assembling multiplayer teams on the game server.)

@AdrianGamer: The article is written well overall, however, I did notice a couple of things that could be addressed. I have noticed that throughout the article, the company name is used a lot more than it potentially could be. To improve the flow, would it not be better to simply state "the company" in some cases or refer to it as the developer/publisher or something of that nature? It would make it seem less repetitive.

• "Ubisoft also envisioned Rainbow Six Siege as an eSports game. Ubisoft had their first meeting with David Hiltscher, vice president of ESL, in late 2013" - It seems kind of redundant. Wouldn't it be better as "...an eSports game. The company had their first..."?

My suggestion is similar with what has been done by referring to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege as "the game" instead of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege in every mention of it. Lead section player counts

As it stands the mention of 25 million registered players is misleading after further specifying Initial sales were weak, but the game's player base increased significantly as Ubisoft adopted a "games as a service" model for the game and subsequently released several packages of free downloadable content. because this increase to 25 million does not strictly reflect sales. The game only has 25 million registered users after at least 4 free-to-play periods when millions of accounts were created. Ubisoft uses this statistic for marketing purposes without further details and Wikipedia should provide a neutral point of view instead of simply repeating it without qualification. Any reason why none of the game's controversies aren't mentioned on this article?

Is there a particular reason why none of the many, well documented controversies surrounding Rainbow Six Siege have been listed on the article?

As an unbiased and open encyclopedia this article really ought to mention the following controversies (at a minimum):

• The introduction of Lootboxes years after the game was released
• Permanently banning people who have paid for the game for using racial slurs in a 16+ rated game - a lot of false flags have been reported (such as Spanish players being banned for using the word Negro, which of course translates as black)
• Worldwide censoring of the game in order to appease the Chinese government and release the game there

Article for operators

Hey y'all, I'm fairly new to the video game side of Wikipedia (I mainly do electronic music) but i've recently put togethor a draft for a potential article for Caveira. This is because I belive that some, if not most, operators in the game are notable enough to have their own articles, especially Ash, Blitz, Lesion, basicly any operator who is popular and is very well known within the R6 community. To demonstrate this, I have written up what is essentially a proposal and a template for future articles, with this one being on Caveira. Why Cav? Well, I main her so I'm a bit biased and also that she has gotten a lot of tweaks and is basically just really well known. In Cav's article I basically put in what she does, who she is, any nerfs/buffs, etc. Came around to around 50 references, which is good.

However, I have basicly no experience with video game character articles, so I have no idea what's good and what isn't and what can be changed and improved. This is why I made a draft, to get your help. Hopefully the article is good enough to be moved to the main space. If not, then oh well. Video Driver Update

I just got this Game, and I am only getting 1 frame per second on my laptop. I bought it using the Ubisoft store and Ubisoft keeps saying that I need to update my video driver for optimal performance. I have an ASUS VivoBook with an AMD RADEON graphics card and an AMD RYZEN 400 Series processor, I need help getting this game to work on my laptop. As a user with a little under 300 edits, I'm not able to make changes to this article and would appreciate a helping hand. Under platforms, Google Stadia is listed but has since gone defunct.
