Talk:Timeline of intersex history

This is not history edit

This clearly is not history. Like seriously you think mention creation myths is relevant to history. CycoMa (talk) 00:15, 22 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is too broad a statement as to be irrelevant. Are creation myths partisan sources? Is Henry de Bracton? Trankuility (talk) 01:32, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I’m basically saying what does creation myths have to do with history. CycoMa (talk) 01:42, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Are creation myths partisan? Myths are the source of later legal and scientific terms relating to hermaphrodites. Some writers talk about how those myths and legends contribute to social stigma - for example, the dropping of clinical terms incorporating that mythological term. Regardless, creation myths have been argued to show acknowledgement of the existence of different kinds of bodies. Trankuility (talk) 01:45, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Okay I will admit that concern was a lazy comment. I am guilty on that part. But, I think the article should had elaborated on why the mention of creation myths were presented.
Also I am guilty because I didn’t check out the whole article. I’m sorry about that.CycoMa (talk) 05:33, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
The better place for the elaboration is Intersex people in history. The section on the Mid Modern Period does this to an extent. Trankuility (talk) 05:41, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Timeline of intersex history edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Timeline of intersex history's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
