Suggestions for the article
editThank you for a good start. Perhaps compare with other opera singers (Jessye Norman), and make some changes:
- absolutely reference the quote in the lead, and give a date, and link the critic, correct the name of the paper (unless you think that the whole think should rather appear later, and the summary tell us more about where she she appeared in what roles, which would give me more feeling for her voice than one critic's point of view, - mention the MET in the lead, for example)
- provide wikilinks to works such as Verdi's Requiem
- for operas, give a composer and a linked opera (title italic), not just a role - we have readers who have no idea who Eboli was (don't link the composer!), so example: Verdi's Don Carlos
- don't use "debut" for any first permance
- don't use "also" at the beginning of a section, where readers arrive per TOC
- give opera houses their real names, Oper Frankfurt, and some are not even linked yet
- try to avoid downright boring lists, such as the houses, better mention in context what she performed there
- never use her first name after the initial introduction
- in image captions, give place and time, not her name again if she's the only one pictured
- avoid short paragraphs, such as the last 3 or 4
- personal life and awards need a reference
For starters. It's a bit too much to expect copy-editing by some else. Good luck. I'd like to nominate her for the Main page, where you see Bernard Ładysz right now, but we need a bit better shape. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:07, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

- Thank you very much. It's too late for DYK, but good that the article looks much better. Some facts could still use a reference. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:31, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
