This article seems very wordy, and doesn't really use an encyclopedic tone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.157.209.66 (talk) 20:30, 26 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

This seems to be copied from an older work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:140:8200:F38F:5DB5:10C5:C275:88EB (talk) 01:01, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Spelling of surname edit

I feel that using M'Crie is more meaningful as three generations of M'Cries are known by their published writings, which use the M'Crie spelling: Thomas McCrie the elder, Thomas McCrie the younger, and Charles Greig M'Crie. --PeterR2 (talk) 19:39, 29 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

This is a convincing point. I have reversed the edit, and there is now a redirection in operation which takes care of my particular problem. Thank you. Geierstein41 (talk) 21:56, 29 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
