William Hanna as cast member edit

A few times over the past few months users have added William Hanna to the cast [1][2][3][4][5][6] under the assumption that archival audio is being used in the series. The problem with this is two-fold. 1) Unless he receives a credit as a cast member, he is not a member of the cast. Making that assertion is original research. It's not our job to credit people that the producers didn't think to credit. And even if you can find a source that supports the fact that it is his voice, that still doesn't make him a cast member. 2) If you think it's Hanna, because it sounds like Hanna, or even if you were to run the audio from this series and compare it to the old series through the FBI laboratory, it would still comprise original research. If it can be sourced that Hanna's voice is being used in this series, fine, something could be written up about that and included in the Production section for instance. But without sources, it's interpretive. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:28, 3 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

fate? edit

Again, IS there any actual proof that the show has actually been cancelled or not? Visokor (talk) 21:37, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I don't know. However, for the purposes of the infobox, per Template:Infobox television, if no new episodes have aired, and no info has been released we can change |last_aired= to the literal date the series "last aired". This is to prevent series from being listed as "present" in perpetuity. If the series starts back up, we change the value back to present. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:06, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

UK premiere date edit

It says that the first time it aired was on CITV, yet has no source. I find this incredibly hard to believe as this show (like Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, and also similarly some people have the impression that, that Mystery Incorporated had its episodes shown on CBBC first, which is incredibly inaccurate as this did not happen) would air on Boomerang first (and that actually has a source) and it still does. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 22:45, 7 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in The Tom and Jerry Show (2014 TV series) edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Tom and Jerry Show (2014 TV series)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Variety":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:20, 21 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

4th season? edit

I don't think that record of shows and seasons is accurate. I saw the one from 2016 that said New Looney Tunes had three seasons, but it really only had two? 104.172.39.100 (talk) 18:54, 3 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Season 4 is out edit

So I was on a random site where it shows 42 episodes of season 4 have come out and are free to watch. But the wiki is only showing the first three seasons Ms8763 (talk) 14:39, 10 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Rick and Ginger edit

Rick and Ginger are married as in one episode in season 1, Ginger is shown wearing the ring. As it goes down the sewers and into the sea, Tom, Jerry and Spike retrieve the ring and return it at the end so it is not lost. Ginger also claims she feels "naked" without wearing her ring meaning she wears it all the time. Even though you can not sea the ring anywhere else, it is likely the developers didn't animate it in. This still means Rick and Ginger are married. De Jure Name (talk) 18:49, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Cast edit

Was it ever confirmed Jerry was voiced by about 3+ people?? Seems excessive for a character like him, but whatever. Feel free to investigate yourself. --WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 15:41, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Added a cleanup template as the list is pretty long, just to search for fake info. P.S. don't remove it unless it's sorted out. I'm not sure if this is a misuse of the template, but please let me know if it is. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 07:31, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Adding "Dollface" in the page edit

Last night, I added "Dollface" in the [The Tom and Jerry Show (2014 TV series)] and also in [List of Tom and Jerry characters], but Waxworker removed "Dollface" from these pages. Probably doesn't believe Dollface was in the series or even exists, she most certainly does exists and was in this TV series. She was voiced by Julie Wittner. I gave Waxworker a link to the Tom and Jerry Wiki page of "Dollface" to proves Dollface's existence and he told me that Fandom Wikis are unreliable sources. Tom and Jerry Wiki is not a fanon Wiki, it tells facts about the characters, shorts, TV series and companies in the Tom and Jerry franchise, not fan fiction. ElectricStormFire86 (talk) 22:18, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

@ElectricStormFire86: - As I said before, Fandom wikis are unreliable sources per WP:FANDOM as they are WP:USERGENERATED - reliable sources are needed to verify this, please see WP:BURDEN, which states that "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and it is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source". Waxworker (talk) 22:22, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
You're not going undo your removal or even let me undo them myself? ElectricStormFire86 (talk) 22:24, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@ElectricStormFire86: - Reliable sources must be cited, and you've not provided any. Waxworker (talk) 22:26, 8 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
