74.199.8.30 and 76.112.31.81

Hi,

I just checked back on the 90s Disney cartoon episode guides, to find they had been screwed up again. I am convinced that 74.199.8.30 and 76.112.31.81 are the same person. They keep citing the incorrect dates on TV.com and IMDB - I'm also an IMDB contributor, and I've fixed those dates TWICE and someone keeps changing them back to the wrong ones - I have a hunch it's the same person!

I don't know how to report incidents or sockpuppetry, but I know you've had to deal with this guy, so if you know anyone who could file a report, I'd love to put this madness to an end.

Masters of the Universe film

Well obviously you don't know anything about He-Man. By Wikipedia's own information He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is only done now by DC Comics, Marvel and Image don't publish He-Man anymore as it says here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masters_of_the_Universe_(comics). Image Comics (MV Creations): November 2002 - December 2004, Marvel Comics: May 1986 - May 1988, DC Comics: December 1982 - February 1983 July 2012 - ongoing. Therefore He-Man is DC. Mattel, DC Comics, and Filmation got together in the 1980s to come up with a new superhero that could explain to kid the lessons of right from wrong. So in 1982 Mattel came up with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe toys so DC could have a feel of what the characters and world would look like, and so in December 1982 DC did there first He-Man comic and in 1983 Filmation did the first cartoon series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmatt41494 (talk • contribs) 20:45, 2 November 2014 (UTC)

Like I said, DC is one of few publishers that have done Masters of the Universe comics in the past, and now are the current licencee from a property that Mattel wholly owns. DC has nothing whatsoever to do with He-Man and Masters of the Universe outside of their own comics, which they could always stop doing. Re: MCU continuity

Well, yeah, but if the One-Shot isn't valid and the TV show has superseded it, then aren't the other One-Shots equally invalid and equally superseded by the other TV shows (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., for example)? We then have severe problems with, say, The Consultant (without which nothing in 2008's Incredible Hulk film appears to be in continuity with the rest of the MCU, as Secretary Ross in the new film might as well be a different character from General Ross who happens to have the same name and be played by the same character) and All Hail the King (without which the life is a lot less fun ;) ), and we have Joss Whedon apparently (haven't double-checked this) saying that in his mind Agents isn't canon and Coulson is still dead; it's also a lot easier to synchronize the films' history of HYDRA with the One-Shots (which don't even touch on it) than with season 3 of Agents; and it seems very likely that none of the movies will ever tie anything back to the Netflix shows.

This shit gets really messy when one starts thinking about it too much, which I can understand making other users reluctant to cite any coverage of it that doesn't come from "official" sources in the articles proper, but it sure is a lot of fun to talk about.

Frankly, I can see the whole MCU falling apart and needing to be rebooted not long after Infinity War. I think it's quite likely that at some point in the near future Marvel will get back the rights to everything in the Fantastic Four universe, and it would be easier at that point to just reboot than try to incorporate it all retroactively.

Hijiri88, I see your point about not discussing there. Your side is interesting. I remember Joss saying how he was glad the Avengers didn't find out Coulson was alive in Age of Ultron, as that would've ruined his death in the first film, but I don't think I ever saw read about him thinking Agents is non-canon. But considering the problems with the Agent Carter one-shot, what's canon and what's not canon causes all kinds of issues. It's like All Hail the King setting up a possible appearance from the real Mandarin, except it's just a one-shot, like what they did for Carter. And like I said for Carter, that film was set five years (I think) after First Avenger, which conflicts with what was done in the TV series. I also think another problem will be that the films and TV shows are done by different departments. The TV shows seem to be able to make some connections to the films, which can sometimes heavily affect it, like the Solovia Accords (did I spell that right), but what does that mean for SHIELD in the films? It seems like time is factor, because they can't put these things in the films, because the TV series would've already moved onto something else.

Some of the reason why I hadn't replied sooner was because I didn't want to go in discussion about something I wasn't completely knowledgeable about, since I hadn't seen Civl War at that point. So regarding General Ross' new was described by him having a heart attack or a stroke something, and can be retconned. But it does leave other problems that was set up in Hulk, where the Leader was a possibility. I think the some of the tie-in comics are supposed to be "canon," and I think the Leader had some interaction with Black Widow, but again it's just the comics, so is anybody supposed to take that seriously? It's kind of a shame that they set these things up, but can't follow on, and if they did they'd probably have to retcon all of that. And, finally, there's the mention of Stephen Strange in Winter Soldier. Why was SHIELD keeping an eye on Strange? Had he become Doctor Strange at that point? They put in a geeky nod to him, but have just intentionally forgotten that ever happened. Quis separabit, Voice Chasers makes it their business to know about the voice actors they cover (a lot more than Behind the Voice Actors). And just like Behind the Voice Actors just because you've found some "reliable" sources that don't give the time of day to do proper research because they cover all kinds of news, you think you can use that in your argument that you are right, and that she was born in 1920. It's not something I really want to discuss; an edit has been made, unless an admin deletes that entry from ever existing, I'm satisfied that I tried to help. True, I didn't even post a link, but you can look up Voice Chasers' post when she died and they talk about it. Hi there, re: these edits and specifically this one where you express a concern that an episode summary is a major spoiler, you should probably be aware of WP:SPOILER. Basically, we don't warn users about spoilers, nor do we remove content simply because it is a spoiler. The purpose of an encyclopedia is to provide information, not to suppress it. That said, I have no interest in reverting you. Though a claim was made that those episodes have already aired in South Korea and that would reasonably be the source of the summaries, no indication has been provided yet that the episodes did in fact air in South Korea. Maybe expressing my frustrating in them being spoiled didn't help, but the fact that there's been pages such as Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! (and I think List of Ultimate Spider-Man episodes), where descriptions have been removed based on episodes airing outside of the US, led me to believe this should be done for TMNT season 4 (I also did the same for List of Avengers Assemble episodes). -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 22:22, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
