- Comment - I don't know about this, the fact that a WP:RECENT second film has been made in my mind confirms the long term notability of the story. I mean "Walter Mitty" even has dictionary entries, Ben Stiller doesn't. Will it really hurt Xmas filmgoers to pass via the original work on their way to check the new film? - Oh, there's no doubt that the original film is the greatest and best known of the three. But I would have thought that many people might not even realise the original film was based on a story. I guess a good analogy might be 3:10 to Yuma (Short story, film, remake). StAnselm (talk) 10:44, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know about Australia, StAnselm, but in the United States the short story is very familiar (perhaps mainly from its frequent inclusion in school anthologies/textbooks). - Oppose, since the topics are not truly ambiguous, but are in fact related. The disambiguation page could be converted into a list of adaptations of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, but this would be redundant to the existing article, which already describes all of these adaptations. bd2412 T 14:44, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
