editShe is not the youngest Miss America ever crowned. See Las Vegas Sun article already cited in the article. Several of the earliest winners were younger than Miss Scanlan. She was, apparently, the youngest Miss Nebraska ever crowned, but not the youngest Miss America. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Willdela (talk • contribs) 14:39, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

editIn addition to being the youngest Miss Nebraska ever crowned, she is also the second youngest Miss America. The youngest was Margaret G. Cahill in 1927, which also happened to be the very first Miss America pageant.

According to Wikipedia's list of Miss America winners she is the fourth youngest winner after Marian Bergeron (won at 15 in 1933), Margaret Gorman (16 in 1921) and Mary Campbell(16 in 1922 and 17 in 1923). Lroche nf (talk) 22:46, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Not done: please be more specific about what needs to be changed. I'm not sure where you want this added, or what how adding it benefits the article. There are hundreds if not thousands of articles on Scanlan, and we don't try to provide a comprehensive list of those. If that particular article has some information not already included in the page, please make a new edit request and state what information you want to add.
