OK, so not a particularly long article, but it seems to be in pretty good shape. I have only a few minor quibbles:

• With New York, he threw three shutouts in seven games, and was praised by manager Clark Griffith for his pitching ability. However, his control became worse over time, and over the next three years he played for various minor league teams. Maybe this is something to address more in the pro career section, but it seems odd in the introduction that he was praised by his manager, but then his control deteriorated. Can we link these two sentences in some way?
• Link Bendix Aviation.
• Neuer was born in Fremont, Ohio, and was one of eight children born to Henry Neuer and Jennie Catherman. Any chance we know whether he was oldest, youngest, somewhere in between?
• I am a little confused by the whole reported signing thing. The source, which is an old newspaper probably with few powers of verification, seems to say that the team "is said to ...", which to me implies that they may not have, and thus, I am not sure it should be included in his article without further clarification. Does the Lyons Morris bio shed any light on this?
• The game also meant that New York had swept Chicago; this eliminated the White Sox, who had won the previous year's World Series, from playoff contention. Not sure about the relevance of this sentence ... if it launched NY into playoff contention, I could see it, but it doesn't seem relevant to Neuer at all.
• Instead of working on his control during that time, which was considered the main thing he needed to work on, he practiced throwing the knuckleball.[1] Why did he not work on his control? More context needed surrounding the whole manager praised him, and concurrently, his control deteriorated and he subsequently sucked. I understand we are limited by what sources are available, but do we have any additional resources on the subject?
• That's a cool fact at the end of the section - I am assuming that was the DYK hook?
• The Chicago Cubs decided to give Neuer a tryout, hoping to add some pitching depth to help them, as they were in a pennant race This is supported by the SABR bio, right?
• In 1909, he was increasingly referred to with the nickname of "Tacks," a nickname reserved for "restless, uneasy, erratic athletes." Could we possibly specifically address how the nickname directly pertains to him? I guess his control issues make him "erratic", but I don't want to have to synthesize to extrapolate the meaning.
• Manager Jack Warner found his control to be so bad that he refused to use him in a regular season game, and Neuer's release from Binghamton marked the end of his professional career. It might be worth mentioning in the lead which manager praised him, or mention the thoughts of both managers.
• From a structural standpoint, might it be better to section the article to have early life, and then professional career with three subsections (before MLB, during MLB, and after MLB), followed by an after baseball section? Again, a minor quibble.
• Probably not, but worth asking - any free images available? Baseball cards or anything - I know you and Secret are loaded with them .

Issues for the most part addressed. A few replies to your comments. First, unsure of what order of child he was. The last two paras are all sourced to SABR, so yes the Cubs note is. Yup, the shutout thing is the DYK hook. I chose this route for the structure only because the early and later life sections would end up being very short, and having the extra ones would make the article feel more choppy. If it was longer I would certainly do so, but in this particular case it didn't seem right. Only one I didn't fully address was the Tigers note. Not sure what you meant by the Lyons' bio, and the Sporting Life and SABR sources were the only things that included this "stint". I just put it in the article since it was interesting that a major league team signed him seemingly out of nowhere, even if it didn't go through; I tweaked that, though if it needs removal I could do so. Sorry, I meant the Morris/SABR bio. I was reading something else about a guy named Lyons earlier and had that name stuck in my head. OK. I will defer to whatever you want to do with the Tigers thing.
