To whom it may concern

edit

First of all, Associated Broadcasting Company remains the legal name of the entity. Second, Wikipedia is not a directory (That's why we have a navigation template). I am going to remove the section television channels and (third) I will completely revise the entities and ventures if no one object within an hour. Why is it even entitled as "entities and venture"? Another concern of mine is that the companies listed on affiliate section are not a real affiliate of ABC, rather they are a media partners. Please cite it or else I will completely remove such content. Lastly, do not model this article to the poorly written article of GMA Network, Inc.. That's all. Thank you. Rename

edit

The actual name of the business is ABC Development Corp, do check TV5's website which has "copyright 2011 ABC Development Corp." Also, see

  • [1] and quote "According to financial statements filed by ABC Development Corp. — parent company of TV5";
  • [2] "It is a joint venture between Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company ("PLDT"), the largest and leading telecommunications company in the Philippines, and ABC Development Corporation ("ABC5")"
  • [3] "preliminary injunction in favor of ABC Development Corporation (TV5)"
  • REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7831 "AN ACT GRANTING ABC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, UNDER BUSINESS NAME 'ASSOCIATED BROADCASTING COMPANY'" (1994)
  • [4] "ABC5, owned by the Philippines' ABC Development Corp."

I can't find any info which suggests otherwise, thanks.

PS it's legal name isn't Associated Broadcasting Cmpany according to Republic Act No. 7831.

TV5 Network5 Network – Guys, due to the rebranded of TV5 to simply The 5 Network or 5, this article needs to changed the name and turn into 5 Network as it said on the website just removed the TV on this article. I'm not gonna moved/changed it because of the alerts on my user talk page. Any comments guys, will renamed it to 5 Network or not. It's your decisions/comments/suggestions. My decision is 50/50. Thanks. P.S. This is a temporary... Movies Time (talk) 11:23, 18 February 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. Xain36 (talk) 06:23, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

P.S. You can named it: The 5 Network, 5 Network, etc. It's up to you on what name will replace the current name. Movies Time (talk) 11:40, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - This seems like a branding shift of the channel itself 5 (TV channel) and not the parent network, which this article is about. Copyright notice on the official website still indicates "TV5 Network". The 5 (TV channel) has gone through several recent undiscussed renames, probably due to the branding shift. -- Netoholic @ 00:24, 19 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
