Name edit

"Ranganath" gets far more Google hits than "Ranganath", so as a temporary measure I am moving to that name under the assumption that it's more common. I am also protecting this page to prevent you two from edit waring. Please look for other editors who have experience in this area and ask them to comment and give their opinion. Disagreements like this must be discussed on the talk page, rather than being fought out by reverting one another without end. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 14:06, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

no man, i know her family. her real name is "Ranganath" not "Ranganathan". ranganath is her dad name, it is not her surname. Mugur Chandra (talk) 14:09, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
You need to source your claims. --Stopthenonsense (talk) 14:11, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, "knowing her family" is unfortunately not enough for Wikipedia, it is just original research. You need to cite a reliable source that backs up "Ranganath" as her real name, or provide official communication from her family or lawyer's (using Wikipedia's OTRS e-mail system) stating how they want their name displayed.
In the meantime, I think both of you need to invite other editors to this discussion. It is clear that you disagree and talking in circles is not going to get us anywhere. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 14:16, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Can we remove the 'Disputed title' tag now?--Managerarc(talk) 07:58, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
