Harmful?

The Red Bull article discusses potential health risks associated with mixing alcohol with energy drinks that contain taurine. Are these risks worth mentioning here as well? M. Frederick 06:01, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

I really doubt Sparks was purchased for millions in "cash." "We have the briefcases! Give us the Sparks!" - the citation link doesn't work for me to double-check (you never know...) or else I would have clarified it myself. was?

This article starts off with a "was" sentence, as if the product is now discontinued. It still exists, it just no longer contains caffeine. It obviously should start off with a summary telling what the product now is, and have the fact that it used to contain caffeine and other stimulants elsewhere, and worded differently. It is kind of confusing....but no better way to word it :) "was" as in the "original" version was geared/marketed as an alcohol energy drink....P.S. I find this line funny, "We're doing it to protect the public health of our young people and to reform business practices," said S.F. City Attorney Dennis Herrera.[8] - what your people are they referring to....? The under 21 crowd? Launch year

Sparks was launched prior to 2002, it was 1998/1999. The concept was originally to have a alcohol energy drink with a vodka base, however ATF regulation at the time prohibited that, therefore a malt base had to be used. ATF was not impressed with the label design and modifications had to be made to the original submission to keep it from being confused as having a health benefit.
