Mukhtar Aymakhanov edit

I added (Unconfirmed) to the two Kazakhstan members mentioned in the sources, because according to the sources, it is not finalized. "the astronaut and his backup will be chosen by a special committee. The most likely candidates, however, are believed to be Mukhtar Aimakhanov and Aidyn Aimbetov. Further, the sources do not say that this person would be a flight engineer, the RIA says the flight would be done on "on a commercial basis,", which would suggest Kazakhstan would be paying the RSA for the flight, similar to what Maylaysia did with Shukor, who was considered a "spaceflight participant", and not a flight engineer. I would suggest removing the Flight Engineer title until the person is selected, and the role of their participation is made clear.ArielGold 20:25, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Guy Laliberté edit

  • I will not put in the article but NASAWatch is saying that Guy Laliberté is flying instead of the Kazakh. Hektor (talk) 13:54, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

1967 edit

The wording "the first flight launching in 1967" is unclear or incorrect; it can't refer to the year 1967, so what is it talking about? Is this a new revision of the Soyuz spacecraft? 8.8.38.2 (talk) 19:24, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The first Soyuz, Soyuz 1, was indeed launched in 1967. Two series of manned Soviet flights preceded: Vostok and Voskhod. Canada Jack (talk) 19:31, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
