Revelation about the Thirteenth Tribe being Cylon

edit

Where does Adama reveal this information? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.67.59.175 (talk) 05:58, 18 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

When he was drunk, he stumbled over to the tannoy and in a drunken rendition of My Way by Frank Sinatra he let slip the true nature of the Thirteenth tribe as well as the fact that he has been shagging the president. 81.99.235.224 (talk) 15:12, 18 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good source for out-of-universe material regarding this episode

edit

There's a really detailed interview with Ron Moore and the writers of this episode in the Chicago Tribune; check it out here]. It includes a lot of information about the themes, production techniques, and even the possibility that this might have been the final episode (due to the writer's strike). --Ckatzchatspy 10:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Eleventh or Thirteenth episode?

edit

Edit at 20:12, 24 January 2009 by 72.205.34.245: "The Hub" is listed as #11 of season 4 on wikipedia.org. Ronald Moore uses the 2-22 numbering for Season 4. Sorry that you don't agree with him.

  • Whether Wikipedia lists it as that or not is irrelevant, since self-references are meaningless and not allowed.
  • Ronald Moore's episodes count is not official from a TV airing point of view and mereley reflects an internal production schedule. But if you insist that this is the right enumeration, then at least add a reference to Ron Moore stating this, and don't leave my reference in place which states that it's episode eleven, changing the count itself to thirteen.

It seems this is a fundamental problem dealing with whether internal production enumeration, or episode numbers in the TV airings should be used. If you claim that internal production numbers should be used for a page that informs the user about the episode foremost from a viewership point of view (with possible annotations about the production of course), then please back this up.

  • If this was just an internal numbering I would leave it alone. Ronald D Moore has used the #3-22 numbering for the Season 4 episodes in his podcast commentaries for season 4 episodes. They use that numbering system on the website (see http://www.scifi.com/rewind/ you can view episode with or without commentary, and they use #413 for this episode) for the purpose of viewing the episode not from a production point of view (well I guess the commentary goes in that direction, but you can just watch the episode there as well) The numbering is not just internal. Season 4 is made up of 22 episodes and there are only 8 left. I do wish they did Razor separately, I don't like this confusion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.205.34.245 (talk) 21:57, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Edit warring isn't helping much, so I (semi)protected the page for three days. Please keep in mind that other BSG pages, such as the episode list, also use the 3-22 numbering, and pages need to be consistent with each other. Whatever the outcome, establish consensus first. • I'm sorry for being so harsh in language wrt. "idiot". I've removed my previous comment because I don't longer stand with it (however the part about not going to edit the episode number anymore stands). --91.67.59.175 (talk) 23:08, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Glad to see you removed the harsh language, but I think I missed when anyone called anyone else an idiot. (I looked back at the previous version to see that you were asking not to be marked an idiot, I don't think you were.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.205.34.245 (talk) 23:40, 26 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • I admit I overreacted; the "reasoning" was so that the page was blocked, "implying" (which I don't think now was really the case) that I would keep on editwarring otherwise. I'm sorry for that, I just react very impulsively sometimes. --91.67.59.175 (talk) 00:36, 27 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wrong reference to Hybrid

edit

Since the page is semi-protected now, could a mod (Edokter?) fix the reference to the Hybrid which foretold about Kara that she's going to be the harbinger of death? It was first the Hybrid on the legacy Basestar, but no one ever knew of that; Kara learned about this for real only in 4x06, "Faith" --91.67.59.175 (talk) 23:08, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
